Gopro Alternative Waterproof Camera

Fits my gopro camera and waterproof housing.

This accessory was necessary to use the camera with the mic. It should be a choice to purchase a GoPro package with this housing OR the waterproof one which I will most likely never use.

I use this to hold my waterproof Olympus Tough TG-2 while kayaking. Everybody who sees it marvels at the uncomplicated and easy to use design, which allows solid hands-free filming but also drops the camera face down at pull of a tab to turn video on/off, check images, or frame a still, zoom, etc. I tell them it is just as great as it looks. Feels totally comfortable and secure, fits smoothly overtop of my life jacket with good range of adjustment, gives me needed access with no fuss detaching from screw mount to hand camera to others. My one suggestion for improvement: make screw mount bolt from stainless, rustproof materials. Very hard to clean out all water after a day of action, and grease or oil don't mix with my camera or other apparel. Overall I would say this rig beats GoPro hands down, and others who see me using it agree. (I did try GoPro system first, sent it back). This one is a keeper!

I love this waterproof housing. It enables me to remove and secure my GoPro with ease, while keeping the housing mounted on the motorcycle. It makes it easier to clean the bug off without damaging the lens. Since the GoPro is waterproof, I use it with the open back to ensure the camera stays cool. Only negative take away is I would have liked to have the option of a pass through for the cord to keep camera charged while on the road. Now if they would make one for the GoPro 11 Mini.

I bought this camera for my 10 year old kid as a cheaper alternative to GoPro. We have used it for about a month now and have no complaints at all. It comes with many accessories that will keep my kid busy for a while. Movie quality is very good. We have tried it on a bike, handheld, and on a tripod. The camera seems sturdy and included waterproof case is a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend this camera for those who want an action cam but don't want to spend big bucks for more expensive brands.

The range of accessories for the GoPro is excellent. The waterproof casing I purchased did the job perfectly!

I got these cases to use as paniers on my motorcycle. They are a cheap alternative to aluminum paniers which can cost around $400.00 each.$ They are waterproof, duable and garanteed for life. If you break it, just send it back, and Pelican will give you a new one. B&H had the best price around on these cases and i received them in three days at a normal shipping level. Overall a great purchase all the way around.

Bought this to use with a GoPro, and it's the perfect companion, with both being waterproof! 3 brightness settings, with low being good for just a little full, and brightest being super bright, if that's what you need. The only real downside (which is specific to my usage) is that with the included diffuser (which works surprisingly well!), it puts some light into the lens (which a small piece of cardstock placed inside blocking that small spot works perfect). I wish it was USB-C instead of miniUSB to charge, but I'm very satisfied.

this case is the perfect size for my gopro in the waterproof housing, plus the frame housing, four spare batteries and the dual charger with the micro usb cable and the usb wall outlet thingy. all of that fits in there like a tetris game. love it.
