Gopro Hero 12 Wireless Microphone

I'm impressed with the quality and it fits nicely on my GoPro Hero 12.

Works good as a low light lens for my Back Bone modified GoPro Hero 12.

Used it in GoPro Hero 12, and now in OSMO Pocket 3, 0 issues, and transfer speed is at 100mb/s, no complains, great value.

I bought this because I wanted to stick an external mic on my GoPro Hero 12, and I have to say it did great! Pairing it with the Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter, it not only let me use the RODE VideoMic Go II for really good sound recording, it also let me shoot handheld easily and get audio recorded while doing it.

I shoot softball games with my 2 GoPro Hero 12's and especially for bright sunshine days these have really helped the footage look better and not be so blown out in the sky especially. The cameras are behind a fence so I'm not worried about them getting hit, so I'm not sure how they would hold up to a direct strike. I've only used the 1st step ND's. I coach, so I just set 'em and forget 'em and if we play into the evening hours they end up being a bit much and the footage can look dark, so I haven't had a need to test either of the other options. They are pretty easy to put on and take off of the Hero 12. That seems like an improvement over some of the earlier versions when trying to remove the outer lens housing.

I have a GoPro Hero 12 and for some reason, half the time I try to use a USB-C cable to charge the battery while inside the camera, it doesn't charge. I don't understand it. But with this charger, I never have that problem anymore. Also, if I forget to charge my battery, I still have two more ready to go at any time.Love the LED charge level indicators on the charger. One of these batteries will last pretty much all day for anything I shoot so if I go away for a weekend and take all 3 batteries (two that came with the charger plus the original), I don't even need to recharge them till I get home. This is just a great purchase for my needs. Should have bought these with the camera.

This is a strong and durable solution to expand the GoPro Hero 8 possibilities. The case is sturdy and the small camera fits perfectly, also with its own side door attached. It has an opening for its own build in front microphone that does not distort the sound or lowers its level. It’s now easy to attach a microphone or light to the set. At the bottom of the case there is a place for an audio adapter that can be connected to the usb-c port. It’s so a perfect rig solution for vlogging. A 52 mm protection filter can be mounted on the cage to protect the lens of the GoPro Hero 8. Depending of the filter’s quality this also reduces refections and avoids loss of brilliance when filming in backlight. One thing to keep in mind is that with the sliding door of this cage with an opening for the connection to a microphone adapter the unit cannot be used under water.

I purchased this housing because I had purchased a SportsMyk boom microphone for my GoPro Hero 4 and realized that I needed the skeleton housing in order to use it. After I received it, I tried my GoPro with just the skeleton housing sans SportsMyk, and I realized how great the audio quality is with the housing alone. The only downfall of this housing is of course the fact that it is not waterproof, so if using it for water sports or in rainy conditions, it's advised to use the standard housing provided with the camera.
