Goto Meeting Using Computer Speakers And Mic

I ordered an Alfatron Salut video camera to replace my existing camera/mic system in our small conference room.  I immediately noticed an improvement in the quality of the picture over our old camera and the sound quality from the built-in speakers in our meeting area was a vast improvement over the computer speaker we were using.  A larger room should really have a larger speaker system as it doesn’t get much louder than the computer speakers, but for our purposes it is plenty.  We used it on a couple of ZOOM meetings already and we were told that we sounded much clearer with the Salut than with our old set up.  For $250, the Salut is a great update to any small meeting room situation.

Sooner or later, you'll want your good mic to be usable in your computer. For example, podcasters will love this or when on a Zoom meeting, having a mic that's better than the webcam-supplied variety makes it easier for everyone to understand you. Just connect this to any XLR mic and it becomes a USB mic. How cool is that. No expensive equipment or finicky drivers. It just works. Nice product, I'll be making a lot of use of this.

This is the tool that enabled me to hold live presentations and at the same time make them available remotely via GoTo Meeting, and have excellent audio in both. I'm using lapel and XLR mikes to get the sound amplified by the in-room speaker system and transmit remote.

Crucial has always been my goto brand for computer memory. This was no exception. The sticks were easily inserted into my Intel NUC 11 and perform like a champ.

Using in divisible meeting space in crowded 2.4GHz environment and works fine. Very cost effective and simply works.

A hefty bugger to be sure! Using for ZOOM meetings both personal and professional. What my meeting mates are telling me is that it sounds far and above better than ANY of their built in system mics! especially PC's. NB for the CLVS's in the crowd: I can out this on the table a little bit to one side of the witness and it sounds great! And it looks really cool!

In addition to hearing everything clearly in my church meeting, I was able to hear speakers from an earlier meeting from my home, which is appox. 25 yards from the church.

True portability for a small group meeting. Just hook it up with pa speakers & good to go! Love it!
