I've played my Les Paul thru it, my classical/electric thru it, sang thru it & listened to YouTube thru it. This EON is incredible. The 8" woofers put out ear-piercing 300 watts of sound. Plenty for any backyard party or indoor party. The settings include reverb for balancing any tone needed. Even though you can play your electric axe thru it, the EON is not designed for this. My Les Paul sounded too bright, even after adjusting the EQ settings. You can get by if you need a quick plug-in to work on a song without plugging into another amp. Each channel has its own settings. The EON is very portable & snaps together nicely in a suitcase-style fashion, making it easy to carry, set up & take down. The headphone input is nice & puts out great sound, just like the speakers. I keep the mixer & speakers apart in the bedroom for solitude practicing & listening to YouTube. Then, I just snap it all together & go. When I discovered this had Bluetooth, I was sold right there! You can play along with any song thru your mobile device. The Bluetooth does not interfere with my XViVe U2 wireless transmitter & receiver. Vocally, the sounds are awsum, too. The accompanying AKG vocal mic works brilliantly! The speakers have a 38mm pole socket for mounting onto speaker poles for maximum outreach. They're also light enough to sit on any cabinet or table. The 2 speaker cables, wall cable, AKG mic & mic cord all fit in a nice, stow-away compartment behind the mixer. Bottom line: I recommend this for any singer-songwriter, DJ, or party host. The price is worth it with the Bluetooth capability.

I am a huge fan of the Einstein series from Paul C. Buff. I am also a huge fan of the Pocket Wizard TTL system. Adding one of these little guys to your Einstein makes it as easy to use as a speedlight. Its a very simply plug and play operation. Of all the camera gear I own, this is truly the easiest piece of gear to operate. I love it!

I bought this before RRS came out with a dedicated plate for the GFX 100 II. You have to mount it backward, with the RRS logo facing you, but it works really well - so well, that I'm skipping the actual GFX 100 II plate and sticking with this one.

You cant do any better than this in a soft guitar case. Love it! Purchased this to go along with myIbanezPDR10NT PF Performance Series Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, also purchased at B & H. Ibanez makes the best starter guitars. Beautiful sound, great play ability and made with quality materials, at a very fair price.

Solid mic for sure with nice mids for speech vocals. Sounds quite different from the original Rode Lavalier, but I really like the low profile, which is similar to my Tram TR-50's, which I also love. I think the build quality on the Rode II may be slightly better than the Tram, which I keep repairing. That said... In my tests the original RODE sounds a little fuller on my acoustic guitar. I sing and play with a Lav attached to the top of my guitar for social posts, and will go back to the original RODE for that purpose alone. For a broadcast vocals the RODE II a winner though, and is now my go-to on that front.
