Gps Tracking For Fleet Vehicles Driving Habits

We have several Garmin GPS on our fleet. They are very easy to use for the drivers. 5 |

Ordered these for fleet vehicles in case of accident. It's good to have onboard in case driver doesn't have or want to use their phone. ISO 800 film means more likely to get good shots, and the Max Flash doesn't require the user to push a flash button for every shot. In our scenario the user is not going to be familiar with the camera, so we wanted it to be as simple as possible. We ordered January 2022 and got cameras with expiration of Sept. 2023, so that's pretty good. (Although we will probably replace them sooner, since the environment in a vehicle isn't optimal). You can probably find them cheaper online, but who knows what you'll get. We ordered from B&H because we knew we'd get unexpired cameras. 5 |

Good features and portable to take in vehicles without GPS. Better than phone GPS, especially for long trips. Lifetime map updates is a plus. Two recommendations: 1...Get a micro SD card that it can support (max 32 GB) so maps have room to expand into for storage. 2...Set a calendar reminder for connecting your device to your computer occasionally for map and other updates with Garmin Express software (I have mine set to remind every 3 months) 5 |

I have purchased a Garmin GPS for my vehicles for several years and have been very happy with their operation and accuracy. I am not that smart when it comes to setting up an electronic device. However, with my Garmin Drive Smart 66 I followed the instructions and plugged it into my computer. After the download I was ready to go. I believe & trust my Garmin GPS's. ve 5 |

You won't have to fumble around with your phone while driving anymore. Not just for GPS app, also functional for regular phone use. 5 |

The LNZ44P12B is an impressive camera. Take note of the size; if you are looking for a small discreet camera, this one is not for you. The picture quality is fantastic. I can capture license plates of PARKED vehicles from ~250' away, day or night (I have to play with the camera's Iris settings to be able to read plates at night). Capturing clear images of plates on moving vehicles is hit or miss. Depends on speed of vehicle, time of day (direction of lighting) etc. I have not been able to capture plates on moving vehicles at night. The only negative thing I have to say about the camera is the audible hum of the motor when the camera is panning and tilting. We have the camera mounted outside of our bedroom window, and it is loud enough to bother someone trying to sleep. In terms of enhancements, quieting the motor would be great, but it would be pretty cool if it was capable of tracking movement. It goes without saying that the key benefit of a PTZ camera is the ability select the exact frame you would like to capture that you can't necessarily get with a fixed frame camera; a tracking feature that zooms in to get a good image of someone's face would be really awesome. 5 |

I sure was pleasantly surprised at the size. It was purchased to house a GPS and a separate driving camera in their cases. It can hold them both in one bag. Plus, it will be keeping them dry when it rains. 5 |

Every day use such as driving. Touch screen on GPS receiver responds to the glove. Glad I bought them. 5 |

For many using a cell device is adquate. I prefer a dedicated, self-contained GPS for driving and the new Garmin flawlessly does that. I guard what privacy there still is and Garmin allows operation with and without a cell connection. Good enough! Unlike my former GPS with lifetime maps (yeah, right) this accepts voice commands and they work surprisingly well. With the pre-loaded points of interest, naming a place works as well as punching in or calling out an address. Information is logically and clearly presented on a large screen and turn-by-turn instructions are timely and useful. I'm pleased. 5 |

I have been wanting a watch with gps tracking because I’m getting into hiking. I enjoy the features of the connect app and the Garmin Instinct. 5 |
