Gps Vehicle Tracking System Data Logger

Purchased this as a backup for my colombus 990 GPS data logger. Since it comes with a SD adaptor you can just snap the two together and pull off the data from your laptop/desktop computer...

We use this case to house a data logger instrument, and the accompanying documents and accessories. This case is ideal, with the pick and pull insulation, and the pockets inside the lid. We also utilize and value the locking capabilities. Being familiar with Pelican products, we did not even consider another brand.

I have been wanting a watch with gps tracking because I’m getting into hiking. I enjoy the features of the connect app and the Garmin Instinct.

This device has worked great so far the gps was dead on , and the tracking was too. It is perfect for my wife as she can see my exact location, mine is set to every two hours it sends her my location. The texting is great too the last trip my side x side broke down probably 15 miles from cell service. I was able to message her via the inreach and it saved a long walk . Messages between us also show my location. It’s definitely a game changer when out solo for multiple days to long hunting trips with zero cellphone signal ..

I was a little hesitant in buy this unit after reading some of the reviews, but for travel I like having GPS data in the pictures. I bought one unit and tried it on my wife's Canon R6 and my R5. It worked perfectly on both cameras, did not have to do anything other than set it up in the cameras menu. I took several pictures with both cameras at different locations, and the accuracy was superb. I then ordered another unit so we would both have one for our cameras.

This is my second one. Purchased for an upcoming shoot where I'll need to quickly alternate camera bodies and need GPS tagging. The only downside is that it adds a tiny bit of additional bulk to the top of your camera. It will run for more than a full day on a single AA Alkaline battery. I'm using this with R5 bodies. This thing is MUCH more reliable and simple to use than Canon's app that uses your cell phone (and rapidly drains its battery) for GPS data. Oh how I wish Canon would build GPS into more of their bodies. I LOVED my 6D bodies of years ago for exactly this reason. Yes they would cause additional drain on the camera's battery but that was simple enough to deal with and well worth it to have constant, reliable, gps data without adding another device to the camera.

Very nice handheld system. Work great for so there's no need to have radio in every vehicle.

This is my second one. I liked the first one one so much I got a second one for my other vehicle.

First power back up system purchase. Feel much safer now, but I still never feel like I have enough copies of my data. Data on data on data.

This is only my second order through B and H. I like their tracking system and the product delivered is exactly what is displayed on their web site.
