With the GPU wars that have been waged in the name of gamers and crypocreeps (thankfully the second group are pretty much gone now), it's easy to forget that not everyone needs a monster graphics card that weighs more than the motherboard and draws 350 watts at full power. This ASUS RTX 3060 is a well made, compact, efficient GPU that will easily run up to three monitors at 4K resolution, for typical home computer use. If you are looking for graphics heavy gaming at 120 FPS, no, not this one. Pull out your credit card and spend 5 times the money for a gaming GPU. This card replaced an RTX 2070. It is larger, requiring some rearrangement of real estate in the case, but I was able to use the same power supply and power connectors because the new card is more power efficient. Bottom line: it was an easy upgrade for +138% graphics performance. The games I used to run on minimal graphics with the GPU at 100% can now run at maximum graphics with the GPU at 80%. This was the exact convergence of price, performance, and ease of upgrade I was looking for. Definitely worth considering. 5 |

Aweome Graphics Card!!! The Asus 4080 TUF Gaming graphics card is a huge step up from my Nvidia 2080. Performance is fantastic and ray tracing, where the future is, is a big step up that AMD cannot touch even with their new cards. I am so glad I bought the Asus 4080. The card stays super cool even when overclocked. The TUF card looks so good in my system and blows the competition away. Great job Asus!! 5 |
