Gpu Passthrough Vmware Laptop 2024 On Same Computer

This laptop replaced a late 2019 MBP 16 with the 2.3HGz i9 CPU. I love the size and weight of the MBA compared with the larger machine. For the tasks I perform on this machine it performs flawlessly. In addition to the typical web browsing and office applications, I run Photoshop, Lightroom, and VMWare Fusion running the Windows 11 ARM preview (4GB RAM, 4 cores for the VM). It is not unusual for my memory usage to be up around 20GB with VMWare running along with a few other programs. So think about your planned usage of the machine when you're specifying memory. I bought a 100 watt Anker charger that is smaller than the 60 watt Apple charger, and it has enough power to charge my iPad Air and iPhone at the same time that it fast charges the MBA. The midnight color is gorgeous. The size and weight are perfect. This is even the best Apple laptop keyboard I've typed on in years, probably because it's not so far away from the front of the laptop as the one in the MBP 16 was. After a month of use, I am very pleased with this laptop.

I bought this GPU on 2/1/2024 to mate with my new AMD Ryzen7 5800X3D and Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite Mobo with 16GB of Crucial Ballistix RAM. Everything is perfectly matched! Little to no noise under load. The fans are great. They cycle on, only when needed, then turn off quickly after a brief cooldown. It is really colorful in my Lian glass door case to boot. Visuals, color rendering, shadow details and processor speeds are spectacular! Getting well over 125-150 FPS on Time Spy Extreme & Ultra Settings. And 90+FPS at 1440P. I am super satisfied with this build. I use it primarily to game-video chat with family & friends-stream-surf the internet. The last upgrade I'll likely do is upgrade the memory this weekend to 32GB of RipJaws or Corsair. Even though my instincts suggest that is overkill & waste. B&H service was awesome! They promised delivery on Monday 2/5 and I got it Saturday morning (2-3). Thanks B&H! I highly recommend them.

Ideal docking solution for my gaming laptop. TB3 passthrough still allows max frame rates to my 244hz monitor. 10/10 would reccommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a USB-C connector you're all set. I used this with my laptop and my desktop computers. It fits nicely under the back of the laptop and gives eleven rearward facing ports. I missed having an LED on the dock to indicate that it's powered up, but that's about the only thing missing. Having a passthrough USB-C port to full power charge my iPhone while working is great. I hooked up an external monitor using the HDMI port on the dock and it synced up immediately. With two USB-3 ports, a USB-2 port and the passthrough USB-C port, you're never without a handy USB port. With three video ports (HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA you can easily add multiple monitors. The icing on the cake is the handy SD and microSD card slots and a network connector. I used the network connector to hook the laptop up to wired ethernet CAT6 connection and it worked fine. This is a solidly built aluminum dock with rubber non-slip pads on both the top and bottom. It's quite elegantly and sturdily designed. Well, until there's another new-fangled port on the scene, this dock will take care of all my needs.

I purchased this ET-4850 (January 2024) for my home office to replace my older Work Force printer, which finally died after many years of service. This new ET printer was very easy to set up (I used the iPhone app, and it was a clear step-by-step process), the WiFi connection is solid, and the print quality is excellent. The scan to computer feature also works very well. I am confused by the posted negative reviews, as my experience with this computer is thus far all positive.

I already reviewed this computer on May 18, 2024. However, I need to add the sterling, Cyberpower customer support! Cyberpower always responds quickly to my emails with answers and solutions to every inquiry I made since purchasing this. I cannot stress enough how important customer service needs to be when making a purchase at this price point! I will not hesitate to purchase from CyberpowerPC again! Their customer service is great!

i have tested this with both a Mac and Windows laptop, and am currently using it with a new 2024 Mac (which only has 2x USB-C ports on the rear). Perfect for plugging in USB memory sticks, an old USB printer, and an external USB HDD for Time Machine backup. Positives - very fast (10Gbps), small and compact, great for travel, no drivers needed, Works with multiple O/S. Negative - Well the only thing i can think of is when its on my desk under the Mac, (with the cable going away from you) the Startech logo is upside down! Very minor point, but this is the only negative i can come up with. Highly recommended product, im very pleased with it.
