Gpu Power Cable

I think my intel I-9 chip, and RTX 4090 GPU deserve the controlled power flow this 1000W modular power supply provides. I wanted the best parts on the market when I put together my daughter's PC. This was an excellent choice. The fan is quiet and can go to sleep to conserve power when it's not needed to cool the system. I particularly like the modular cabling. I didn't have to install every SATA connection but only installed the cables I needed. That really helped me with cable management. I comes with the new GPU power cable which is much easier to run and plug in. Bottom line - It's a solid choice.

Honesty for the price, the amount of power and action you can get out of this gpu is incredible. I have zero regrets with my purchase and B&H handled the delivery perfectly.

This 550W PS is sufficient for all but the highest end single GPU builds, particularly with more power efficient nVidia cards.  My unit arrived in just a few days, and packaging was superb.  A power cord and cables ties were included.  The PS performs without a hitch in my build (i5-8600k, nVidia GPU, 3 drives), and it is near silent even when gaming or rendering video.  I have had great service from SeaSonic PS units in the past and expect no less from this one based on initial setup and performance.

I ordered it because I have an new GPU that needs allot of power to work. It is definitely strong and quite. So, if you are looking to upgrade you machine for NVIDIA 3090, this power supply can handle.

This card replaced an RTX 2070. It is larger, requiring some rearrangement of real estate in the case, but I was able to use the same power supply and power connectors because the new card is more power efficient. Bottom line: it was an easy upgrade for +138% graphics performance. The games I used to run on minimal graphics with the GPU at 100% can now run at maximum graphics with the GPU at 80%. This was the exact convergence of price, performance, and ease of upgrade I was looking for. Definitely worth considering.

This unit has plenty of CPU and GPU power to handle current games and stays silent even when playing with high frame rates in ultra settings. My only advice is to go into the bios and unlock the XMP profile for the RAM, which has been disabled by HP for whatever reason. Other than that I'm very happy with my purchase, even more so as it was on sale when I bought it.
