I worked in radio for a few years but had never gotten around to buying a nice set of headphones at home (was using a cheap Sony pair from college that were super comfortable). This ATH model is obviously beautiful, but also sounds magnificent. I can wear them for hours without fatigue or pain, unlike some others I've used. You're not likely to find a better value for the money! Outstanding. 5 |

An outstanding cheap set of cans. These were the reference headphones we used in university & de rigueur at a lot of radio stations Ive worked at. They are comfortable for extended use. Less lo-mid bump than Sonys not quite as brittle as Beyers. Close back great for tracking vocals. Not well suited for field production like 7506s but great for studio. 5 |

I bought these for my daughter she tries to take them every where with her. At first she thought they were just cheap palstic headphones, but the sound was great and they are holding up very well. The purple is tastefully applied (not overwhelming). They are much lighter than my polk head set and do sound great to me as well. 5 |
