Great Sound Quality Headphones For Gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got these Quantum 200 headphones and must say I am definitely happy with them! They are pretty simple, basic gaming headphones with all the features you need and none that you don't. When you first get the headphones, give them around 20 hours of burn in / usage time and the sound will become exceptional for gaming and movies. You won't be disappointed, especially for the price! Pros: 1. Balanced Sound Quality: These headphones are definitely mid and high centric for sound details in gaming and movies, however the bass gets better over time. Clean, clear and balanced would be a way to describe it. 2. Clear Microphone: The mic is super easy to use with the easy flip mute on and off. It has great sound quality with very little background noise. My online teams remarked on how clear my mic sounds now. Everything in the volume is super easy to get adjusted and dialed in. 3. Great Price: The value of these headphones is a bit beyond the retail price they are asking. This is a tough set of headphones for the price and I really can't ask for more in the value department! Its got decent sound, great microphone, rugged build quality and simple to use. Cons: Require break in to get the full sound quality. Just use them and over around 20+ hours, everything goes from okay sounding to beyond decent. Just use them and expect the sound to get better and better. Other than that, I have no complaints! All in all, I think this is definitely a great budget minded gaming headset. They have all the right features and nothing beyond that. Super comfortable with durable design, long cable, intuitive controls and clean sound. A simple, quality pair of headphones that will last and get you thought the game with ease. Way to go JBL!

The sound quality is great, and the microphone quality is great. This is one of the most comfortable sets of over-ear headphones I've ever used. The battery life has been great so far, lasting for entire-day gaming sessions. I love the ability to both remove the mic, and also do flex and adjust it away from you if you need to drink. The mute button and volume wheel on the headset are a nice touch and make this a fantastic option for easy use during conference calls as well as gaming. My only gripe is that these don't have bluetooth connectivity, and can't be used with a device that doesn't take the USB dongle. I'd love to be able to switch these between my desktop and laptop/phone like I can with my G915 keyboard, and G-pro mouse - however, I usually use different headphones for music anyways. For the price point, this is a FANTASTIC set of headphones. I couldn't be happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Positives: JBL Quantum 400 is a solid gaming headset with excellent build and top notch sound quality. The build quality of JBL never disappoints. The quantum surround sound will give you the surround sound experience and is the best part of the headphones. You can customize your sound experience with the app. The microphone works perfect.The headphones worked perfect with my Xbox One. This headset gives immersive gaming experience you need. Negatives: None but if nitpicking, the sound cable can be little longer.

It's always boggled my mind that every other gaming headset I've had, even when spending north of $200-250 on them, sounds like some $30 Skullcandy garbage from 20 years ago when it comes to sound quality. My travel headphones are a nice set of Sony WH-1000XM3 that I've had for several years now that I originally purchased around the $300 mark and I feel are my benchmark for what wireless headphones should sound like, and these are genuinely the only gaming headset I've heard that actually sound like they belong at the $300 headphone price-point. If you care about audio quality, these are probably the only gaming headphones you'll ever be satisfied with.

I was playing sports video games like FIFA and it felt like I was really in the stadium. Other video games were equally as great. You could hear the faintest of sounds and this made the louder sounds even more intense. The sound quality is great and the microphone is equally as great. Anybody I played with online had an easy time hearing me. The gaming headset is super easy to setup and use as well. The wire-free set up is great and allows you to walk around without having to take off your headset or bring your controller. The battery life is also long and something I appreciate. The headset is very easy to use and has convenient volume controls right on the headset. Perhaps an underrated feature of this headset, is the ability to have great sound without disturbing anybody. You can play video games without annoying anyone else in the room. Also, I used these headphones to watch TV/movies on my gaming console without waking up anyone in my house like I used to when using my TV speakers. Lastly, these are very comfortable! I wore them for hours and never once experienced discomfort. I usually do not like over the ear headphones so the fact I never had any problems and actually enjoyed wearing these shows how comfortable they are! I could not recommend this product enough!

These are amazing wireless headphones that happen to be geared towards gaming. Mic is great and sound quality is perfect for music or gaming. B&H shipped fast!

These are some of the most comfortable gaming headphones I’ve ever had and hey sound great as well. My only gripe is that I would love for them to have a bit more bass so that explosions in games can have a more full sound to them.
