I am using the speakers with a desktop and a laptop setup. The desktop is hard wired via the green colored sound jack. The laptop connects via Bluetooth. Both work just right and provide an easy way to share one set of speakers. (my computers share the monitors and peripherals via a KVM switch). The only hang up was that it took patience and repeated attempts to get the laptop to recognize the speakers in Bluetooth setup. However, now that its been recognized, I don't have to repeat the process. Sound is very good (not audiophile quality, but quite passable for computer speakers). 5 |

The HTPC I am running had (2) 1.5TB WD Green drives that had a been re-used on a couple computer builds. The age of the drives may result in data loss so replacing the drives was a smart move. The 1.5 TB drives have moved to data back-up. A single drive to replace (2) drives is a great advantage. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man, this is a sexy mic. It looks sleek and feels very substantial. Even the packaging is sexy. It would make a great gift. The sound is way better than my computer mic and it's great how you can choose different recording modes. My kids think the LED colored ring is cool. You can change the color of the light with a button at the bottom (red, green, blue, light green, light blue, orange, or purple). There is just a small pamphlet included with some instructions, but with useful information. For instance, for best sound results, don't tilt the mic towards you and talk into the top - instead keep it upright and speak into the side. Also, keep in mind that if you have a computer like my MacBook Pro that doesn't have a USB port, you will need to get an adapter. 5 |
