Green Pull Down Projector Screen

We needed to pull off a last minute wrap around (2 wall cove) green screen 2 camera shoot (portrait & profile angles) of a talking head interview for a documentary. The budget was a little too tight to rent a green cyc stage and so we looked at background rentals and purchases to use in our photo studio. We chose to go with the GS12 because of the 24' x 10' dimensions and the decent reviews. For the price, you really can't beat it and it doesn't take up too much room to store either and its easy to pack up too. We were able to back the subject far enough away to diminish green spill while having plenty of coverage for our 2 angles.

I love this Angler Retractable Green Screen. You can mount it with the provided hardware in a room for fast and convenient use or you can use the provided s clamps (I used a slightly bigger set to work with my setup) to mount it with a couple C-stands/Heavy Duty Light stands. It's built well and seems like it will hold up over time. It feels exactly like one of those pull-down school projector screens. I love not having to pull out the steamer just to use the screen, it is a huge time saver. Just pull it down and throw some lights up and you are good to go. I definitely prefer this type of material over the fabric-style screen. Overall this is a quick, convenient, and quality screen. (I received this item in exchange for my honest review)

While the size isn't ideal for people with fixed-focus webcams, this 5' x 7' green screen is nearly perfect for me who just got a Logitech 920 webcam that can zoom in. Set up and break down is a breeze, especially if you intend to reuse the screen as I do - you just pull the screen up right before turning on your webcam, adjust the webcam so the green screen fills the area, and chromakey away! At the end of the session, pull the screen back down into its base - it's that simple. Having previously used a 5'x7' cloth green screen and a stand, I know how big a pain that is to set up and break down. Compared to that, this takes no time at all....

I bought a pair of these to use as a green screen pull down screen. They are heavy and will hold the load. You need to purchase the K&M 195/8 Slip-On Speaker Mounting Adapter to mount your speaker or in my case the pull down screen!! Solid and zero tipping.

I found the Green Screen to work so much better than a green screen I had bought earlier. The previous screen is so much brighter and with a smoother fabric which was giving me a lot of green spill. The only change I would make would be to have it one foot wider (6x12)

Hey. Had a green screen project that had tight timelines and budgets. I couldn't afford waisting critical time cleaning up messy keys in post. The guys at B&H recommended I buy a pair of IFB576-S to light the Green Screen. The lights controllable features worked beautifully. So much so that, even the basic Green Screen Key filter in Final Cut keyed cleanly. Thanks guys!!
