Buy this 30 Grey target, set an approximate white balance icon for your environment, get into the light that you are shooting, fill your viewfinder completely with the grey target in consistent light, set shutter speed at zero then up it +1/3 stop, focus and click. You have aproximately compensated for Ansel Adam's K factor (18% vs 12.5% true grey). Then bracket upwards three times each by 1/3 f-stops, take a look at each image, choose the proper exposure for your light temperature and lock it in. Different light temperatures show a flat target between zero to + 3/3 compensation dependent upon the model of camera body. 5 |

Once you learn how to use the Grey or White card for white balance it works great. I do like the fact that it folds up very small and doesn't take much room in my kit. 5 |

I use this paper for portraits mainly. It is superb and can be used for white , grey or almost black depending on lighting. 5 |

I don't know how I got along without this background! Perfect for my small studio. I will be ordering the white and grey ones! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this projector on an old 120” Severtson grey screen (0.95 gain, I believe) in a very well light-controlled room. This projector really shines (pun intended), particularly with bright/colorful content. Watching Mulan in 4K was stunning. It really was like having a 120” LCD monitor on the wall! There are many options to tweak the settings to your preferences. I have few gripes with this projector. The shadow detail is slightly lacking in dark scenes.I am using max lens shift for my placement and it seems to cause some focus uniformity issues in the corners which is fairly mild. By the way, the manual controls, particularly the focus lever could use a redesign as they are clunky and difficult to make precise adjustments with. Still with such a stunning image I can easily forgive a few minor shortcomings. Tremendous overall value! 5 |
