So I've been a life long gamer, the last time I had a steering wheel setup was on the Playstation 1 with the original Gran Turismo, fast forward 25+ years and I decided I'd give a racing wheel another try (as I have most of the Forza Games, plus Dirt Rally and a few others). Let me just say, what a difference 25 years makes! Force Feedback is amazing! Not only does it really feel like a car driving down the road, but most racing games allow for nearly infinite adjustability of the Force Feedback Settings. This wheel is actually too powerful on the highest settings, so I've dialed the strength back to 50% in most of my games. I'm playing to enjoy the games, not wrestle with the steering wheel, but some gamers might like the steering a lot stiffer, and this will deliver. The buttons on it feel well built like they won't break or stop responding, and in the rubber section of the wheel it feels very grippy and well built in your hands. The plastic part of the wheel feels a little cheap but it won't wear. As for the pedals, they do the job and aren't terrible, but also nothing to write about. After a few weeks I upgraded to the T-3PM pedals that Thrustmaster just released, and they are well worth the upgrade. I still have the pedals it came with as a back up in case the new pedal set runs into issues. If you've been thinking about getting a racing wheel, this one is great!

This is perfect if you want to use a monitor with a racing simulator setup (as in a chair setup you wheel over to your desk), but also wish to use it at your desk like a normal display. The reach and steadiness of the arm is beyond reproach: even perched at an extreme angle with a DD wheel setup vibrating nonstop, this holds steady.

A really nice start to my racing simulator. Pricey, but justified by quality.

I started sim racing with the NLR WS 2.0. I chose that stand specifically because it offered expansion abilities. After upgrading to a DD wheel, this GT Seat Add-On was the next logical step. WOW, what a difference it makes! So much better than using a chair with the stand! Having the DD wheel, the vibrations are now transmitted through the whole chassis, and you can feel everything, giving a much higher level of immersion. Also, I’m 6’4” tall, and about 255 lbs., and this fits me really well. After assembly, all I needed to do was adjust the wheel height and position a bit, and I was off to the races! The seat is comfortable, and well-suited for long racing sessions. There’s plenty of adjustment in the seat, both fore/aft, and reclining it to the angle that works best for you. The quality of construction is top-shelf, and the final assembled product is very solid. This will be the last sim stand and seat I’ll ever need. I would also highly recommend adding casters to the whole thing. Not only will they help you move the sim around when needed, but will lift it off the floor a few inches too, which some have mentioned in other reviews. You can either get the NLR ones, or there are others on amazon too. Just make sure the stem size specifies it’s M8, as nothing else will fit.

I purchase this after getting the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0, #NEWHLSTND2, and buying the seat was inevitable. Assembly and instructions are extremely easy to follow and I also didn't have to fight with it to get all the pieces together. I can see this seat being a bit small or uncomfortable for people over 6'2. I am not that tall and it fits me perfectly, despite the name. Also the seat is firm and very comfortable even after long sessions. The only bad thing is that the shifter/handbrake plate can be a bit loose and there is no tool included to tight the nuts but if you have a 10mm wrench available then there is no issue. Also This thing is heavy duty and weighs A LOT, I highly recommend getting the casters for it, #NENLRA007, because it can and will hurt you when moving after fully built and attached to the Wheel Stand.

I purchased the Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition for iRacing. I couldn't be happier with the product. It was extremely easy to set up and is a ton of fun to use. It is solidly constructed and performs as expected. I did my research and decided on a belt-drive versus gear-drive wheel. My Thrustmaster wheel is smooth and accurate and makes you feel as if you are actually in the race car. The force feedback mechanism is also very good...when I go off course or spin, the wheel reacts as I would expect it to. If you are serious about iRacing or racing-related video games, this rig won't disappoint.

Forza games.. this steering wheel is just amazing.. no complains.. but you 100 percent need to buy a stand! This force feedback is no joke!!!
