This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |

Made of brass, changing filter is easy esp during the rush. I guess the reason is that brass adapter is well hard and stays in complete round form all the time, no matter where pressure is put onto it when twisting. Its thread is smooth. Its hardness prevents it from cross thread. It is quite costly, but it is worth investment. 5 |

I am those that put an UV filter to each of my lenses.� I have a mix of Hova and B+W, but recently end up buying more of the B+W filters.� I guess I like their brass construction a lot. 5 |

I read that filters made of brass (like this one) don't bind up and I guess it's true, I've yet to have a problem removing it from a lens. 5 |
