In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine. 5 |

I ordered this audio amplifier at the recommendation of a local audio/video store. Our office space had an old player from the 1900's that finally died on us. This little amplifier is exactly what I needed for my home teaching office/music studio. No, it's not the biggest, most powerful. What it is, however, is exactly what my needs called for – a tidy, efficient, high-quality, feature-rich little gem. Frankly, I have yet to find a flaw in this Pyle Pro amp. Picked up the 11-24 at the Post Office; took few shots of the steering wheel; and drove right into the Talkeetna mountains. Having used fisheyes for year I thought I would know what to do with an 11mm rectilinear...but this lens is different. My instant favorite lens for off-trail Alaska landscapes. Image quality and sharpness are excellent. Distortion is very low. Makes incredible panoramas that don't look stretched out. Heavy...but it's also a 20, 17, 14,13 and 12mm! Once in my hands weight doesn't matter! Use the 11mm most but love the zoom! 5 |
