I use it for guitar amplifiers and home appliances - have been working great. 5 |

Using it for guitar but appears to suit small amplifiers well. 5 |

I bought to of these to run as a stereo pair for guitar amplifiers in a live environment. They are terrific! They handle whatever two 100 watt amps can throw at them and do not color the sound in any sort of negative manner. They definitely let the amps tone shine right through. I went from two classic Sm57s to these and I just notice more clarity and detail than I did with the 57s. Mic placement is a breeze. I spent all of 5 minutes with a pre-recorded loop figuring out the most natural sound and its very easy to find the large sweetspot with these mics. Again, the 57 does not have a huge sweet spot. 5 |

Since obtaining this microphone, I have used it to mic up two different guitar amplifiers to good effect. Overall, the sound is warm and the bass response becomes more pronounced the closer it is placed to the grille cloth. Positioning the mic around six inches away produces a more balanced and useable sound IMHO. I have yet to try this mic with a Cloudlifter, which I believe should, when used in conjunction with the Fat Head II, yield a better, hotter signal. 5 |

I use the surge protector to power my guitar amplifiers and other accessories in my home recording studio. The long power cord affords me the ability to move the surge protector around the room without hassle. Lots of outlets and slim profile. Also a major plus is the low profile/right angle plug which fits flat against the wall allowing furniture to be pushed closer to the wall. 5 |

My wedding got postponed, but I've tested the whole setup at home and so far so good. I took the manuals out for everything after seeing online that the menus were complicated. For how I use off camera flash, I haven't had to mess with them yet, they are simple enough and work as I hoped they would. 5 |

The setup takes a while to figure out, you do have to think it through if you've never used a pano adjuster like this. The manuals and online documentation are pretty good, and once you've experimented a bit and done it once it's a breeze to keep using. It's enabled me to do a lot more with pano photography with a lot less hassle than I had without it. 5 |

I know it's now the way of the world now but I'm very cautious with buying equipment online because you just don't know what you're getting until you get it. This was a perfect example... after spending way too much time looking for a multi guitar stand, I decided to go with one made by Fender - a well know name - but when I opened the box, there were parts missing. And besides that, it wasn't the most very practical design... so, I packed it up and shipped it back. I then decided to go with my 2nd choice - the Hercules multi-guitar stand - it was sturdy, required no assembly AND I found that it could fit more than just 5 guitars! Absolutely the right way to go! 5 |
