Guitar Cable Pedal

I purchased the Xvive wireless guitar system based on a number of positive YouTube reviews. I figured for the price that it would be worth it if I could get it to work. I first tried it by inserting the transmitter into my PRS and the received into my Mesa Boogie amp directly. Worked perfectly. I didn't mess around with selecting a channel so I suppose it just worked with the default selection. I next plugged the receiver into an overdrive pedal and the pedal was plugged in with a cable to the amp. Again it worked like a charm and there was no noticeable difference compared to using the pedal and amp with a cable. Later on I did play around with selecting a different channel on the transmitter. It takes a little getting used to, but the device beeps the 1-4 times depending on what channel it's on. You have to set the receiver to the same channel to get the system to work. There is no light to tell you that the two are on the same channel so you just have to keep pressing the channel button to get them to sync. Anyway, if you don't have a second guitar using the same wireless system it's best just to leave it in channel 1 and leave it alone. It will work well. While playing I moved around the house and it definitely has great range. It was fun moving into different parts of the house without worrying about getting tangled up in a long guitar cable. 5 |

I use this to power a guitar pedal rather than changing out batteries. Works perfect, no complaints. 5 |

I got the last one in stock (time to reorder, B&H!) and I can see why... the Mel9 pedal adds a completely new vibe to any electric guitar setup. It's very dynamic and responsive, only slightly losing track with very soft notes. Send the dry out to one amp, and the effect out to another (or the sound board) and your sound palette gets very big very quickly. Like everyone else probably did, I immediately dialed in the flute sound and learned Strawberry Fields Forever, but it doesn't stop there. Strings, cello, orchestra and choir sounds are super-fun and very authentic - even down to the warbly tape sound. One thing I'm considering is putting an EQ pedal on Mel9 as its sounds can be a little harsh in the midrange. Dial that back, add some reverb, set the attack and decay at about 1 o'clock, and you have a string pad like keyboard players have always enjoyed - at a fraction of the cost of MIDI guitar synth. Play around with pickup settings too, as the effect sound definitely responds differently to neck vs. bridge pickups. Playing speed is also a factor... most of the sounds take a little time to bloom, so staccato, rapid picking probably won't let the sounds fully develop. But for adding a huge layer and vintage texture to your sound, the Mel9 is where it's at. I can't wait to try it on bass guitar too. This one will be used a lot. 5 |

Used once for powering guitar amp, powered monitor, pedal board, and bass amp on stage. Performed well and kept the hums at bay. Long cord legnth and good plug access. 5 |

I play both guitar and keyboards. I got this mixer so that I could plug in a couple of keyboards, the combination effects pedal, and a microphone all at the same time and feed them into a couple of Behringer powered speakers. The keyboards and the effects pedal have stereo outputs which works out great with the 4-sets of stereo inputs on the mixer. So far I have been very happy with this mixer. I have been enjoying the convenience and the additional effects. one way it could be improved would be to add XLR mains. 5 |

As a guitar streamer I've been looking for something like this for a while now. I can now change scenes, change the zoom on my Facecam, toggle sources (and a lot more) with a tap of my foot instead of having to stop playing the song, so I can press the button on my Stream Deck. If you already have a Stream Deck, you can literally copy-paste your action to the pedal interface and the setup (from plugging it in, to actually being able to use the pedal) takes 10 seconds. The pedal itself has a decent weight to it so it doesn't slide all over my floor and the quality of the casing gives me confidence that I'll be able to use it with shoes if I ever do outdoor streams again. All in all, it delivers exactly what it promises. 5 |

Works nicely in my setup. I'm using this with guitar to trigger various mono synths, fits nicely under the pedal board etc etc. 5 |

I will use this case to carry a floor-pedal guitar effects processor to my performances. I have 3 other Pelican cases that I am very satisfied with and decided to add this one, instead of, the type of carry cases that music stores sell. 5 |

Purchased this because I have a favorite guitar with a floyd rose tremolo that is pain to drop tune so this pedal provides the best solution to play a variety of songs that I couldn't have played before without spending an hour re-tuning. 5 |
