I got the last one in stock (time to reorder, B&H!) and I can see why... the Mel9 pedal adds a completely new vibe to any electric guitar setup. It's very dynamic and responsive, only slightly losing track with very soft notes. Send the dry out to one amp, and the effect out to another (or the sound board) and your sound palette gets very big very quickly. Like everyone else probably did, I immediately dialed in the flute sound and learned Strawberry Fields Forever, but it doesn't stop there. Strings, cello, orchestra and choir sounds are super-fun and very authentic - even down to the warbly tape sound. One thing I'm considering is putting an EQ pedal on Mel9 as its sounds can be a little harsh in the midrange. Dial that back, add some reverb, set the attack and decay at about 1 o'clock, and you have a string pad like keyboard players have always enjoyed - at a fraction of the cost of MIDI guitar synth. Play around with pickup settings too, as the effect sound definitely responds differently to neck vs. bridge pickups. Playing speed is also a factor... most of the sounds take a little time to bloom, so staccato, rapid picking probably won't let the sounds fully develop. But for adding a huge layer and vintage texture to your sound, the Mel9 is where it's at. I can't wait to try it on bass guitar too. This one will be used a lot.

Can't say enough great things about the wireless guitar cable for the UniPak transmitter I recently purchased from B&H. Works better than the stock one. Price was unbeatable and shipping was fast. Thanks B&H!

I am new to video and photo tripods, but am very familiar with mic stands and guitar stands, so I know something cheap when I see it. First off I wasn't sure what to expect. As soon as I opened the package I knew I had something worth what I paid for. All of the parts, including the locking clips, rubber feet, handle, and swivel looked and felt very sturdy and well made. Opening the tripod and extending the legs was easy and smooth. All of the locks hold tight. The removable clip that screws onto my camera (don't know what it's called, newbie) is very easy to take off and put back on, making it easy to switch between gear. I ordered this because of all of the other great reviews, and I'm glad I did. Even the carrying case is nice. I'm not sure it could withstand being abused outdoors, but it does look and feel like a case that can last a long long time if taken care of.

Domke created a great little bag that holds just enough for what I need. I'm glad B&H Photo had it in stock.

No other shop had them in stock. B&H PHOTO had enough stock and was able to be purchased. I needed this film and it was very helpful.

I learned about the Hahnemuhle photo cards recently and tried them in the Baryta Satin paper, wanting to use them as holiday gifts for a handful of people. The process requires download of a PDF template from Hahnemuhle, which must be printed on letter-size card stock. You'll also need removeable photo adhesive from B&H or an art supply store. The photo cards are tack-mounted to the template, run through your photo printer one at a time. They can be removed immediately as the photo cards are instant drying. The process takes some time, and will likely require getting familiar with it and what settings work best in your software (I print from Photoshop and Capture One), but once you have it down, they'll go quickly. This photo card stock is quite absorbent so some deeply saturated colors will require adjustment in your editing app to avoid printing in a more muted tone. Black and white prints look gorgeous on this stock. Try this product, it is a different way to present your prints.

This is my favorite card stock for printing archival photo cards. I like the size and the cotton rag paper is gorgeous.
