This is a great mic, just finished a a Quick ENG run and gun scenario that was probably one of the worst situations a sound guy could have, concrete floors whit people talking over one another. This mike makes it all smooth as silk, the final files were perfect no adjustments needed. Just what you want in a mic. Highly reccoment this mic to anyone that has a 416 shotgun, this is the perfect dialogue mic... 5 |

I chose the MKH 8060 shotgun to use with my Canon XF100 for run & gun situations. It is a great match for size and weight. It is only 7 inches long. I have only used the mic a few times so I cannot comment on the sound quality yet, however I understand that it is comparable to the MKH-416, which is an excellent mic. 5 |

We do a lot of run and gun interviews with an re-320. And it's hard to carry a mic stand with a pop filter. This fits at the front and you are ready to go. 5 |

This mic has all the features you could want for a run and gun shooting setup. My favorite feature is the duel levels recording, so if you peak on one channel you can just use the other channel. Another awesome feature is the gain dial on the back of the mic. Great for dialing your audio if something needs adjusted on the fly. Finally the auto on and off is quite amazing. I no longer have to worry about remembering to turn my mic on, as in the past with other mics I've recorded clips with no audio because of this. Great product, RODE! 5 |
