I purchased 980 PRO and 970 PRO both for Intel NUC Hades Canyon 65W i7 Kit (Slim) as primary and secondary SSD. Both works great, but both are working with same speed. 6000MB/s speed can not be seen with Intel NUC Hades Canyon 65W i7 Kit (Slim) 5 |

I am very pleased with the form and function of the Hades Canyon NUC. It has a generous compliment of input and outputs that future proof it, the fans are quieter than any previous NUC I've dealt with even under load and with the HUGE GLOWING SKULL turned off is actually quite discrete looking. I chose the HNK despite the slightly slower GPU and lack of an unlocked CPU, this is why: 1. 65w vs 100w = better temps, lower cost of operation, longevity 2. Overclocking in a system of this size is risky 3. The faster GPU isn't really a gaming powerhouse either, I'm using this to edit video with some light gaming, if you want to go big, use an external GPU enclosure with its Thunderbolt 3 port. I'm very happy as a long time NUC user with the speed, design and features. 5 |
