I'm only a beginner when it comes to studio video recording, and am using it for marketing and business videos. I've been looking all over for a good boom mic stand that would allow me to raise a shotgun condenser microphone overhead and out of shot. This one works perfectly. This stand is sturdy. It seems like it could handle quite a bit of weight. Of course I didn't swing on it or anything to see what the max was, but it holds my microphone great, and that's all that mattered to me. Bought for my Better Half's Truck, The Suction Cup Mount is better than the adhesive tape, allowing different placement, All Features work as they should. One issue, mainly for night driving, the Unit switches over from Live Video to GPS Speed Monitoring with Large White Numbers, somewhat a distraction. Still very happy with this Unit. Download the full Manual; 32 pages, and read before complaining and or buying any item of interest. 5 |

If you're looking to get your first set of studio quality lights for personal use, these are a great option. Half the size of a normal one-by-one panel, so won't be quite the same power. You do get the trade off of them being very lightweight and maneuverable. Get yourself a couple of bounce cards and you could do a lot with these, especially shots with only one subject such as interviews. 5 |

Not sure if this is true gaffer's tape but it seems to work well. The one inch width is not for all uses. It does come off without leaving a mark. 5 |
