Hall Effect Sensor Game Controller

I bought this controller to use with the X-Plane 11 flight simulator. My original control yoke began to annoy me, stiff around center and frustrating when trying to input small precise movements. Flight instructors at PilotWorkshops.com recommended this stick, even for pilots who fly aircraft with a yoke rather than a stick. It has a pretty good feel, with positive centering but a modest breakout force and smooth motion. The biggest selling points are the Hall Effect magnetic sensor on the main X-Y axes, and the high resolution position outputs. This allows very fine correction inputs, and avoids twitching that often occurs with potentiometer sensors. The price point is another: to get a control yoke with Hall Effect sensors, the price of admission begins at around $800. The stick-twist rudder control works OK, although a little twist goes a long way. I like the reversible hand and thumb rests on the stick, and the array of user-assignable buttons on the stick and base (Left-Right switch under base to swap buttons on base). The throttle slider works well, with a movement of about 3/4 inch. Also, the base has two threaded holes for 6mm bolts/screws if you want to fasten it down.

Seems to clean dust off sensor well with no residue and little effect.

I used it on a prime lens on Canon 5D mark 4 full-frame sensor with 4K crop factor and I am thoroughly impressed with it. It silently takes the 4K sharpness away and introduces a subtle dreamy effect. Just avoid including any source of light in the frame. It also reduces contrast as advertised, but the effect is never in your face. Highly recommended to anyone who is after a cinematic look on a digital sensor.

May be one of the most misunderstood lenses in terms of use. By the name alone some new comer the this type of optics want to see the door knob/carnival effect. That is not the case with this lens. I have used this lens with both a Canon 5D and the new Xsi. The 5D having a full frame 35mm sensor giving me the true 15mm optically altered rounding effect known as fisheye(moderately so) and with the Xsi that has a 1.6X multiplier(smaller sensor) which give a subtler barreling effect. That is a 24mm optically alterd by the front element. Much different than a standard 15 or 24mm lens. In any case the lens works best when the vantage point is from high above or from low to the ground. Better yet close to your subject. In my opinion for the money it is the best Fisheye for the canon EOS system. Not easy to clean! be careful!

I bought this lens for astrophotography on full framt'e sensor cameras - Nikon D800 and Sony A7. �I wanted the circular effect so I needed a detachable lens hood - this lens is designed for APC sensors but works on full frame sensors giving a circular effect with the lens hood detached. �I did some test shots just to get used to the lens and found good performance in terms of sharpness - some CA at the circular edge but not relevant for my use. �Fully manual but that's fine - you don't need autofocus with a fisheye lens. �Great value for a niche application lens.

This is a great fisheye lens for cropped sensor cameras. It allows you to get the fisheye effect by zooming out to 10mm. Overall its a great landscape and wide angle underwater photography lens.

We have a fireplace in our home which can really effect the thermostat and temps in other rooms. The sensor is placed in our bedroom over the summer to make sure it is cool enough at night and in our guest room in the basement to ensure they are not freezing just because we have the fireplace on upstairs. The prefect solution.

Correction filter which stops ultraviolet rays to reach the sensor. Effect over 2000m altitude and summer on the beach. If desired, it can be left on the lens at all times, for protection. High quality.

I have bought this controller to replace my old Xbox 360 controller. As am using this controller on windows I cant say about my experience with game console, but I really like the way it works on windows. Please dont forget to buy xbox usb adapter for wireless experience (only for pc).
