Halo Ultra Pack Portable Charger

Excels @ 1440p ultra settings with RT: 120+ fps in Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and Helldivers 2. Stays nice and cool, rarely going above low-70s. It’s also a pleasure to look at!!

I mainly use this for formal group shots at weddings. I use it with a Halo umbrella type soft box on a tall light stand. It is easy and fast to set up. I use the light stand bracket which gives the stand a little more balance when the pack is mounted to it. I have used a Qflash, which is nice, but I need to use the extension cord for the head with it which is one more cord to mess with. I also have used a Visatec battery operated pack, which again is nice, but it is a bit heavier than the Norman set-up. I want fast set-up and light weight. I was worried that the 200ws would not be enough and I should get th 400ws pack, but I have found the 200ws to be just right. FOr in the church group shots I'm typically about 15-20 feet from the groups. I set the shutter to get some ambient light (maybe a stop 1/2 less), usually use 400 ISO, start at the 100ws setting and I'm at F8 or so. Works for me. If the group gets big and I have to back them up towards the altar, I just turn it to the 200ws setting. It's a really great product for this type of shot. Only problem has been the plastic light cover seems to fall off easily. I use their car case for the system which holds the light and pack, a lightstand, Halo, and a tripod nicely. Light and easy.

The Manfrotto Halo Compact 2-stop diffuser is very portable and comes with a carrying bag. The diffuser screen is easy to attach, unless one has arthritis in their hands. The diffused light quality is even.

This bracket will open up whole new options for your speedlights! I purchased this to use with my Wescott Mono Halo. I am going to now add a portable beauty dish to my Lighting equipment. Side note: I use a StoFen diffuser on my canon 600s flash inside the halo for even greater light spread inside.
