Hand Crank Adjustable Desk U Shape Multi Level

We have another adjustable desk at the office, but I like this one better because it has a flat surface (as opposed to the two-level the other one has) and the pneumatic mechanism allows you to set it at any height instead of the pre-determined ones. Price was much better too.

I have a Shure 55SH and it is not known for being a very sensitive microphone. It looks great on my desk but was not getting used much since I had to crank the mixer gain up adding a lot of noise. I have the Mackie Big Knob studio (love it!) and it has 48 volts out (phantom power) so it was easy to plug it in the back inline with the XLR mic cable. So now I have a lot more volume and a lot less noise.

This thing looks well made, operates silently, and stays put. The desk clamp, which was the main thing I was concerned about, seems very stable if you really crank it down (use something to protect your desk though - I'm using a small piece of cardboard). Haven't used it for very long though.

The desk is beautiful and very well made. The crank mechanism works beautifully. My husband assembled it, and I didn't hear any complaints, so it must have been pretty straightforward. This desk makes working at a computer all day much more tolerable! I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this desk.

Easy to put together, very heavy duty. Adjusting the desk up and down is no problem, simply crank the handle which takes almost no effort. One small problem was that my desk was missing an end cap for the metal brace. Not the end of the world but it does make the desk not 100% perfect, but still love the construction and will recommend.

This was a gift to replace a tripod with a broken crank. This has no crank: nothing to snap off! :-) It seems easy enough to use, quick to setup, and sturdy. Also, easier to get perfect level with Ball head. (old tripod also wasn't level and had molded mechanical stops that prevented achievement) I've only had it for about two weeks, but I will use it more and update this review if anything changes.

Does exactly what it is told. Hardly any noise until you crank level, of course. Very precise, very sensitive, very good.Not beautiful but it's extremely functional. The knobs are pretty sturdy, you could drop it a few times and be fine, pretty durable overall.I'm a bassist and I use it for eliminating room harmonics and buzz but also as a conventional eq, which it is also very effective at. Very defined lows, very rich mids, and singing highs. Puts the gain right where I need it for a little growl as well ;) In summary, a great product not only for it's price but probably 100s of dollars more.
