Great small travel tripod and can be used as a camera handle grip.

I really like this handle. It has excellent build quality. There are a number of mounting points on the handle - I would rarely use them, but if I ever need them, having them is a plus. The rubber grip portion has a soft texture, but it is still a solid, firm grip. I have medium-sized hands, and this handle is perfect for my hand size as well as how I like to hold the handle. If you want to hold your camera rig handle like a medieval claymore, this may not be the handle for you. If you hold camera rig handles like I do - with my thumb on the backside, over the enamel Kondor badge in this case - you might find it quite comfortable. The record button works well, though the button is quite loud when pressed. I bought the appropriate cable to use this with my R5C setup and it works perfectly.

I was looking to attach a lanyard to my universal camera handle grip. Since the handle has a 1/4 screw hole on the bottom, this screw fit perfectly. I threaded a length of cord through the D-Ring. While not a perfect solution, this works well when I have a lightweight point-and-shoot camera attached to the handle grip.

Using this handle not only helps stabilize the camera, but also gives a perfect button to record as well. The hand grip is fantastic and feels solid.

So far this battery grip has been very nice to handle. It fits well in the hand, feels tight to the camera, and feels quite durable. It has no issues with the digital connection to the camera and operates just fine. Don't bother spending the extra money on the Nikon brand grip. This one will do just fine, plus you'll have some extra money to get another battery.

User Friendly: The grip is enhanced because of the increased length of the camera handle, and doesn't bring you different grip feeling while using; it feels like part of my camera. Rechargeable battery can still be easily opened and there is no need to mount the door of the battery compartment like previous baseplates Non-Slip & Stable: The handle can improve the stability of the camera and reduce camera shaking. Specially designed leather grain increases friction without grinding hands. Enhance comfort when using the body and also protect the bottom of the camera body from wear and tear because of the generous padding used on the baseplate. On the other side of the grip it has a very well polished curve that offers comfort when operating lens. All and all seems and feels like a quality product.

I bought this bag for to put an FS5 in it. If anyone is looking for a bag for that camera, the FS5 fits snugly in it with grip and top handle attached and also has still more room in the compartment for the battery, a lens, etc. (I choose to take the grip off as the width is tight with it on). The bag is nicely made, has pockets all around and has good padding.

This camera grip is extremely well machined with a solid thoughtful design. I use this on a Sony RX 100M4. This is a heavy, full featured compact. There's just not enough room to hang onto it and make fast adjustments. This handle makes all the difference. I thought the handle would be too short - it's not! You can put the camera in one pocket and the handle in another and nobody knows you're ready for good photography. It will change the way you SLR users view using a mirrorless compact camera. I don't have that big heavy SLR banging around my waist or chest anymore. I didn't give up anything to travel pounds lighter. This handle is a DEAL!
