First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE.

To all Sony handycam ownerers: BY IT !!

This is a nice way to attach the RODE GOII transmitter to your video camera. I use a Sony Handycam and Prior to buying this, I had to clip it onto the hand strap, which also worked, but I like that it is out of the way. Downfall: if you have this attached to your Handycam, many LED lights will not fit along with it.

I have 40D,60D,6D Canon camera and Sony HdrFX1000 Handycam video camera. I like the smoothness of the pan and tilt,and the fluid drag system,also the two ways I can mount my Ninja Blade and monitor on each side of the head. as a up and coming photographer and videographer it has improved the quality of my work. it meet all of my needs, couldn't find any thing I don't like.

Good Handycam video light for a small area and close to the object. With $50.00 off but the price is still pricey.

I have an older Sony Handycam and use a Mac. I have had a heck of a time figuring out how to transfer video from the Sony to my computer. With this cable, I finally have a workaround. I feed the signal from the Handicap through the A/V port (digital) using this cable to a VCR. Then I use the Roxio VHS to DVD cable to go from the VCR to the Mac computer. With this setup, I'm able to transfer my video. The Sony Handicam apparently doesn't support USB transfer to Mac computers, which is why I had to figure out this workaround.

I recently purchased a Sony Handycam DCR-SR68 for our Truckee Optimist Club. The handycam came without a protective filter for the lense. The filter I bought fit perfextly, and I am sure that it will give us many years of good service.
