Hangars For Paper Construction Plans

This is the best paper available for plotters. All printed maps and plans come out beautifully.

Bought these to replace some inferior rubber hangars. These were exactly what I needed.

I have a business that prints construction plans and posters. I bought the HP to replace a machine that was large & complicated. My Hp is simple and scans and prints perfectly, it has easy to follow guides to ensure I’m putting the paper in correctly. The software is easy to use and makes sense. I’ve looked at other reviews and they mentioned disliking the basket or use of software, these are not problems for me because every other brand of plotter needs to have settings changed in order to print properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally received the HP DesignJet printer for my office, we run a commercial construction and maintenance company called ProFi out of south florida, and prior to this, we were outsourcing our printing. I was skeptical as to whether this was something we really needed but it's been less than a month in and I can already see how this machine is paying for itself. Right out of the box it was incredibly easy to assemble and works great. The HP DesignJet is fast, reliable, and prints high-quality docs very efficiently. We've been using the HP DesignJet to print building plans to give our GCs a better more clear view of the projects which has helped to optimize our operation and eliminate frustrations and job mistakes. Due to the size of the print jobs, I was skeptical at how well the quality would turn out but so far all docs and plans we've printed have been better quality than our old printing service, which charged us an arm and a leg with a few days turn around time. With the HP DesignJet I can print plans on-demand and It has helped me save a lot of money for my business. I highly recommend this machine to anyone in the building and construction industry.

After testing a few different weights of paper, we found that this is the perfect weight/thickness to print plans on. The color does not bleed through since the paper is not thin, but it also isnt too thick.

I have been using this paper for several years now to print floor plans and they always look crisp and clean. I have even printed some full color photos and graphic heavy posters on this paper and I was impressed with the clarity for standard bond paper. Excellent product at a reasonable price.

Paper is fine for construction drawings, easy to load and use.

In my past experience, Canon has been good with their protection plans.
