Hard Drive For Cheap Gaming Pc

I was using a Gaming Tower PC for my Photo Processing which worked well but when the hard drive went bad I needed to replace it. The Mac mini M2 was just the ticket and I paired it with the 27 Studio display. I believe this was the best choice I could have possibly made. The system is absolutely awesome for my needs.

I needed a 4x USBc card for my Gaming PC. This was cheap and did exactly what I needed it to do.

Fastest Hard Drive I've ever had the pleasure of installing in my PC. I will never go back to any other hard drive again, lookin to get into an 950 pro now.

I've been researching SSDs for a new gaming PC for a few years, and this drive was at the top of every performance category out there. B&H had the best price I've seen yet, so I jumped on the 1TB version to replace my old SATA drive. The free Samsung Magician software allowed me to migrate all my data seamlessly to this new drive and I have repurposed my old drive as backup storage. It lives up to the reputation, and the loading times are instantaneous. If you're on the fence of what drive to get for your operating system, you can't go wrong with this!

While I’ve previously owned an SSD, there’s a world of difference between a SATA drive and this NVMe SSD running on PCIe 4.0. Windows boots up in a flash, browsing through thousands of photos is a breeze, and 4K video editing works fluidly, all thanks to never needing to wait on storage. Samsung warrants the 980 PRO for five years (or 300 TB written for the 500 GB SSD). My previous experience with Samsung SSDs suggests that I probably won’t ever invoke the warranty, but there’s great peace of mind in knowing that Samsung stands behind this drive for a long time. Overall, I highly recommend this SSD for gaming and beyond. With modern consoles now integrating their own high-speed SSDs, games will be both designed around and best experienced with high-performance storage. There’s no better way to bring your PC into the next generation than an upgrade to the Samsung 980 PRO.
