In a quick shop looking for a sturdy case for a WD Passport external hard drive, I found this among others and, without a doubt, it is the best. What a want to protect my drive is a hard case, that's it. But I found many soft cases that will protect the drive against...dust. In one side of the case you put the drive (secured by a band) and in the other side there is a mesh pocket where you can put the cable and other small stuff. The zipper is really good also. I was trying to shop around a hard drive replacement for my old Samsung 256 SSD (MZ7TD256HAFV which was starting to fail) in my macbook pro (15-inch mid 2010, 8gb memory, model identifier ver 6,2). My decision to get this SSD was based on high reviews/scores and a website comparing different SSD models. The reports indicate that this is a very good product (from a read-write speed as well as price & overall-vaue standpoint). I purchased the product and had no complaints.
