Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl Paper is great for Portraits of People. It renders great color quality and it is Hearty. It dosn't scratch easily. I use it on Epson 4000 and 7600 printers with the Ilford Rip. Consistent, you can't beat it. The only bad thing I can find to say about it is that it seems that Ilford is making it harder and harder to find. They have discontinued their RIP in this country and it would be nice if they would have continued with it so that you could move up to the newer Epson Printers. I worry that they will drop this paper also. 5 |

I have been scanning tax and other documents and then shredding them to free up space in our safe. I've been using an Epson flatbed scanner until I purchased the DS-410. I would have taken me at least 30 minutes to scan what I've just finished but with the DS-410, less than 5 minutes. And the DS-410 can do both sides at the same time and save as .pdf file. 5 |

You can buy a cheaper one, but you will end up tear or shredding something important. How much are you photos worth? Very happy with my purchase. 5 |
