Hasselblad H1 Camera Review

I got this for a Hasselblad H2, and wasn't sure it would work--there was an early H2 adapted from H1, and a later one with improved electronics, and the specs said it would work with H2F (whatever that is). At first it did not seem to work, but it worked great on my Canon 650D (which would be all right). Then I tried again on the Hassie and it works fine on that too. A cordless remote is always nice, but sometimes it is really necessary. I haven't tried it with mirror lock-up, but either way it is just what I needed.

This H1 has helped me so much on wedding days getting clean audio is sometimes hard. Having this compact h1 zoom recorder is a game changer. I even have used the Rode GO 2 and that wouldn't always work great for me due to bluetooth and connection errors. Love it and hope this helps you as much as it did me!

Just what a need it for my Hasselblad Lunar.

I use these on my Hasselblad lenses. Nothing better.

The TLZ 50 is perfect for my Fuji X-H1 and 16-55mm zoom. The flap opens up in reverse to make it easy to get to my camera when walking on the trail or in town. The stretchy pocket on the front of the bag makes getting to small accessories a snap. The rain cover makes protect your camera from rain and snow. It is the best designed top loading bag I have found.

I mounted this lens on my Fuji X-H1. I set the manual focus assist at high res red; set the lens at F8 and the focus at 3 meters for a zone focus of 1.5 M to infinity. Set my iso and shutter speed dials to manual and, with my small Sekonic incident light meter, took a walk around town. The experience nearly replicates the feel of my camera walks of thirty years ago with a manual film camera. Lens build quality is very good, aperture ring has firm clicks, focus ring turns smoothly, images are sharp. I have plenty of Fuji AF prime lenses so didn't need this to fill a focal length hole. I bought it for the user experience. To slow myself down and take my shooting method back to the basics.
