Hasselblad H4D Camera

I bought this to use on a Really Right Stuff carbon fibre tripod with my Hasselblad H4D-40. It works really well, coming from a 3 way tilt head I was worried that it might be hard to level a ball head but it is very easy to set just enough friction so the camera can be moved easily without danger of it flopping over. A subtle tightening then gives a very firm grip. Overall the small size, beautiful engineering and simple controls add up to a very nice unit.

That is a really best qualy product. Heavy duty monoball, solid, easy to use. I use it with my Hasselblad H4D-40 with 120mm lens - really heavy combination.

On a Hasselblad H4D-50 with a 100mm lens, this extension tube is ideal for close-up photography. For example, with the lens set at f11, a rose is exactly in focus, with all in front or behind, nicely bokehed.

The Hasselblad 907X 50C is definitely an interesting camera. This is not my first medium format digital camera. The 907X camera by itself creates a love-or-hate reaction at first use. My reaction was simply one of joy after only a couple of shots. I still cannot figure out why I like this camera so much... I think it's because 907X slows me down to allow me to enjoy the process. Okay... Okay... what do I like about the grip? The grip gives me direct access to more controls like aperture and shutter speed (and more). Even balance is improved, The grip is an odd marriage to an already unusual camera, but it adds to the camera just a little more to make it even more fun easy to use.
