Hdmi Adapter For Pc Monitor

We were hooking up an HDMI TV as a second monitor on a PC that had DisplayPort, this cable was perfect. It was the length we needed and avoided having to use an adapter from the DisplayPort on the PC to change to HDMI. Highly recommend use of this cable over a double ended HDMI cable and an adapter.

I kept my old monitor, and this adapter made it easy to transition it to the new PC.

This is an excellent little box. It's well built and does exactly what the manufacturer says it does. Setup was a breeze. The manual can be confusing but it basically reads/duplicates/changes and EDID HDMI/DVI signal. Why do you need this? Simple...If your monitor/TV is not talking to your input device properly for whatever reason, this will take care of that. You can select resolutions, color options on the fly and pass through sound as well. Why did I use this? I was trying to connect a PC output to an HDMI monitor of obscure resolution. I was greeted with a blank screen. I did some research and it turned out the Intel drivers do not support said resolution...so HDMI handshake was happening but that was about it. All I had to do is connect this box between the monitor and the PC and set it to a resolution that the Intel drivers understood...and voila...problem solved. The box continuously broadcasts the EDID signal so the computer thinks it's always connected. Perfect.

This adapter works great if you have a Display Port connector on your PC and are connecting to a display with an HDMI input. I was looking for one without a locking Display Port connector. The picture online shows it without a lock, but it does have one. You have to press a button to remove it from the jack

Bough the monitor almost two months ago, have not had any issues with the monitor at all, currently only using HDMI until I can get my wife's PC completed and then I can see how Display port looks at the full MHz refresh rate, but just on the HDMI it has a crisp picture quality, and no issues displaying games, or playing media which is what we bought it for

I was searching for a way to use a existing tablet PC (Windows) as a full HD field monitor. I thought there HAD to be a way. This device gave me exactly what I needed: HDMI in to USB3 out. For software on the PC, it seems any webcam monitoring software will do. I settled on Corel Video Studio's capture window at full screen. I tried this device on several PCs running Windows 7, 8.1, or 10. It worked well on all that had a USB3 port (for the needed throughput). I'll probably settle on using a Sony Duo, which has a 1920x1080 pixel screen (about 12 diagonally), and is light weight. I'm taking my feed from a Canon Vixia HF-G30, recording in 1080P. It appears that stepping down the HDMI output to 720p may result in fewer lost frames with some PCs, but my analysis is incomplete at this point. All in all, a good solution to the need for a field monitor at a reasonable price.

The length of 6 feet was perfect to connect my monitor to my PC. The quality of the cable seems good. The cable fit perfectly into the hdmi ports and the picture on my monitor looks good. What more could I want from an hdmi cable.

Heavy duty cable with strain relief at each end. My new PC only has an HDMI port and my old monitor only has a DisplayPort. I thought I was going to have to buy a new monitor, but this cable allowed me to connect my new PC to my old monitor. It works great, and I saved a ton of $$$ with this cable! Ok so Dex might not replace the need for a PC for EVERYONE, but the same can be said about anything other than a PC. Truth is, the usability and capabilities of Samsung Dex are definitely underated and reviewers should talk more about it. The Dex pad has worked great for me. I initially bought the Dex cable (straight USB-C to HDMI) but it was limited (no charging, no usb ports, and no ultrawide monitor support). With this pad I was able to connect and see my phone in ultrawide, works great!!! With this pad I can connect mouse and keyboard, watch youtube while looking at 6 tabs in my browser and answering texts, all in my ultrawide monitor!!! Just dont expect it to be a PC, its not, and its not trying to be. One more thing: this thing includes the fast charger AND the HDMI cable!!!!!What?!?!?!

Outstanding monitor! Great value for size and features. Easy setup. I run these dual ASUS 27in monitors connected to a high-end PC i7 laptop - one connected via HDMI, one connected by DisplayPort - seamless setup and performance. I have a third ASUS monitor identical to these connected to another PC i7 laptop (via HDMI) and they all perform flawlessly. Heavy graphics use for extended periods daily.
