I was in need of an HDR display for grading UHD footage. This ASUS ProArt Display has several useful inputs including HDMI and USB-C. It auto detects HDR content and right out of the box I was able to start grading material. I am using this is a grading video monitor and it's video feed is coming from a video IO box rather than the computer itself. I am sure it would make a great computer display as well. The display was well packed in a sturdy box and the build quality of the display is fantastic which is why it's a bit on the heavy side. Overall a great value for the money especially when looking at other displays such as Eizo or Sony at more than double the cost. 5 |

This was one of my first curved monitors and still is one of my favorites. It's really good for a PC or a PS5 because the PS5 has a 120hz mode in some games, mainly FPS games. The colors are good, and the game plus is awesome! Game plus lets you do anything from keep an eye on your frames per second to putting a crosshair on your screen. I haven't noticed anything negative with it being curved, or any eye strain. It doesn't seem to have much glare, and you can view at multiple angles without problems. I mounted it to some hydraulic stands so, they are light enough for that and to move around. They are durable, for a monitor. I feel like the curved helps with bigger monitors. I haven't quite figured out the HDR but that's with any of my monitors. HDR seems to be more of a marketing thing. Unless you are planning on spending a ton of money on a monitor, don't worry about HDR. The one I bought was a 32 in, but it might be a little too big for what I'm using it for. I don't regret getting this monitor. I recommended ASUS curved monitors to some coworkers and they like them as well. You can't go wrong with this monitor. I have bought at lot of ASUS. Most of my PC is ASUS. I like their stuff. The TUF series cost to performance is tough to beat and the ROG stuff is really nice when you want it all! I'm not sure about customer service yet. I haven't had any issues with my monitors. They are currently in the process of repair a graphics card under warranty and so far, it hasn't been a bad experience. 5 |

The ASUS ProArt Display 34.1 1440p HDR Curved Monitor is exceptional including the color coverage, the design, build quality, price, and functionality. Probably the best monitor that I have owned for photo and video editing. 5 |

Works and looks great. I was looking for a HDR 29 monitor to replace an older one without HDR. Asus monitors have been worked well for me. The monitor looks great and the HDR works well on any of the inputs. It has HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C. It accepts the more modern connections. Switches between all of them with ease. I also got it because it's lightweight. Mounted it on my desk arm with no issues. HDR and lots of inputs for a good price. I have multiple computers and devices connected to it and they all display great, with and without HDR. 5 |

Every game I have run on it so far looks crazy! Doom running at 5120x1440@120 with all the setting maxed will make your eyes pop out!! The combination of the 32:9 aspect ratio, high frame rate and the HDR makes playing on this thing like nothing else I have seen. I can see enemies on screen that other people can't. It's curve is 1800R, more curved than a TV. You sit so much closer to it that it has to be more aggressive. Once you are sat in front of it you don't really notice the curve but you do notice how much more comfortable it is on your eyes. I have an RTX 2080ti in my PC. I think if you want to game on one of these an RTX 2080 is the minimum. It being so large and you sitting so close to it means that any drop in settings you do, to get framerate up, ends up looking muddy, you're kind of defeating the point of having it. If you get one, be prepared to have an irresistible urge to buy a stupidly expensive video card. With nVidia enabling G-Sync on Freesync monitor you get full VBR support on AMD and nVidia cards. It works great on the standard Freesync setting. I have always used multi-monitor setups so upgrading to this monitor has meant that I can now run my desktop on one monitor yet have more screen estate than before. It's amazing how much more productive you can be with a 5120 x 1440 desktop. The games that I have tried in HDR look great but the real star is Netflix. I found that Netflix didn't want to show me HDR content. I installed "HEVC Video Extensions from Device Manufacturer" from the Windows store. I'm completely blown away by this monitor. 5 |
