He Wins Plenty Playing Wind Instruments

I like wind instruments. This is that and so much more. Nice features make playing sound like the real thing. Tried it all but haven't used it as a midi controller yet 5 |

I bought this and a competing, much more expensive system. Kept both, but this (the Lark M2) wins. For me, sometimes it even wins vis a vis some very high end, cabled lav mics. The sound is excellent, especially if you place the transmitter closer than you would place a standard lav mic: the manual says right on the collar, in what is otherwise known as the chin shadow, and this works surprisingly well. Pickup is clear and not sensitive to head-turns. The surface of the transmitters is smooth and not microphonic, meaning not sensitive to noise from rubbing against skin/clothing. I put some black moleskin on them anyway, and on the magnets, to cover the logo and the light. The various receivers included in the box (especially the lightning and usb-c plugs) are great. The connection is fast and rock solid with all receivers. Very confidence-inspiring. The wind furries are big and hard to put on first, but no problem once you get the hang of it. With the wind furries on, a small arrow on the back of the transmitters tells you where the mic points. Suggestion to Hollyland: give us smaller, short-haired wind furries in a variety of colors. The other extras in the box are all great as well. Another suggestion to Hollyland: update the app with an option to switch off the light on the transmitters—the light can be distracting and the lights on the receiver already provide the same info. 5 |

Whether you're looking to record yourself playing instruments, singing, or podcasts, the Yeti offers the best bang-for-your-buck when it comes to USB microphones. Using the microphone couldn't be more simple; just plug in the USB cable, open recording software of your choice, and in minutes you'll be recording some surprisingly clear and crisp audio. On the topic of audio quality, one must mention the top-notch audio recording capabilities of the microphone. The Yeti uses a three-capsule design which allow for a wide array of recording patterns. The audio comes out well-balanced, picks up bass well, and produces most frequencies with excellent clarity. With that said, do not expect it to be able to record CD quality audio, but for a USB mic, it sure has just about every other beat. The only con I can really think of is the Yeti's size, which might make it difficult to transport. With that said, the Yeti is very well built and features a rugged metal body and stand. 5 |

I switched to playing software instruments by midi at live music events but this is also perfect hot a DJ. I didn't need a full USB audio interface because I am not recording live audio. The box just takes digital audio via USB from my laptop, converts it to analog and sends it by ground lifted balanced outs to the PA. No noise, superb low latency with Ableton running NI plugins from a core2 duo MacBook. 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

It is so convenient for him to keep his instruments together in a more compact space than the individual stands he had been using. It appears to be well constructed and sturdy. He is using it as he go-to space to keep his instruments organized. This is a big plus with his mom and dad. 5 |

Beautiful, heavy stand. I like the heavy, as it is unlikely to tip over in the wind when playing outdoors. Very well made, should last forever. 5 |

My son, who is used to playing on a baby grand, is thrilled with this keyboard. He wanted a keyboard to be able to play in his room, compose, record, etc. He loves the feel of the weighted keys and the different sound options (upright piano, old fashioned piano, etc.). I heard him playing the Minute Waltz and Maple Leaf Rag, and it sounded wonderful. 5 |
