Headless Mode On A Drone

I mainly got this drone to learn and fly in acro mode. I like that you can swap out the prop guard and cage if you need to. Very small drone, good camera quality on the videos. Battery life is also good. Parts and accesories are not to crazy expensive. A fun drone.

Frankly, I never thought I'd enjoy this little aircraft as much as I do. The buy was on a whim. I own most all of the DJI Prosumer drones. I can easily say that the Avata is the most fun I've had with any of my fleet. The drone can be parked in a shoebox, flown where no other drone can be flown with confidence. Keep in mind that I'm NOT an FPV pilot per se. That will change! I do own the big brother, the DJI FPV. Neither of these aircraft have been flown in Manual mode, yet. I feel that the Avata is the easiest way to learn to fly in Manual mode. Time will tell... The goggles are crystal clear (and a bit uncomfortable on my nose). They provide excellent line of sight range. I can say that I ran out of electrons BEFORE I ran out of miles. But range is NOT what this little drone is all about. This aircraft is all about up close and personal with your subjects. Penetration through houses and forests has not been a problem as long as you stay within 3,000 feet or so (FCC). Highly recommended!

I recently bought the Fimi Mini 3, and it has exceeded all my expectations! As someone who travels often and wanted a lightweight, easy-to-carry drone, this has been perfect. It fits easily into my backpack, and at under 250g, I don’t have to worry about regulations or permits. Video Quality: The 4K video at 60fps is seriously impressive. The footage is smooth, clear, and vibrant, even in windy conditions. The 3-axis gimbal keeps the video stable, and I’ve been able to capture some fantastic shots without worrying about shaky footage. I was surprised at how professional the video looks straight out of the drone—no need for post-editing! Ease of Use: If you’re new to drones like me, you’ll appreciate how user-friendly this drone is. It was incredibly easy to set up and fly. The controls are very intuitive, and the one-touch auto-return feature has been a lifesaver. I didn’t have any trouble getting started, and the GPS stabilization helps keep it steady, even when it’s a bit breezy. Features: Despite its budget-friendly price, this drone is packed with advanced features. The waypoint tracking and night mode work like a charm. It even has a Quickshot mode for creating cinematic short videos, which is a fun bonus! The flight time per battery is around 30 minutes, which is more than enough for a solid flying session. Overall, this is one of the best drones I’ve come across, especially for beginners and frequent travelers. It’s easy to use, provides stunning video quality, and has all the features you need without the hefty price tag. Highly recommended!

This drone is truly amazing. The camera is outstanding, especially in Night Mode. I also love the Waypoints feature. Build your flight plan at home then when you get to the site, all you do is deploy and press GO. Fully automated. Cruise control is nice. I might even shoot in DLOG flat profile too since DJI has a custom LUT for the Mav 3 Classic. Drone feels solid and looks sleek. I'm gonna have a blast with this. Use the PayBoo card and save money! I saved $174.

This case is awesome. It has room for everything you would need to take with you on an outing. Drone in landing mode, 2 remotes, 2 screens, 2 hub chargers, numerous batteries, props, cords, camera, and lenses. Its easy to tote around, and it has an extending handle so you can wheel it while standing straight up. It's well padded, and water tight. You name it, this thing has it.

I had trouble with Splashtop (remote control software) and MacOS Mojave working on headless MacMinis. Had no trouble prior to Mojave. Plugged this in and solved all the problems, plus in theory it operates faster.

I bought a second one of these because I purchased a second headless media computer, this time on Windows. This dongle works perfect and gives me all the resolution choices I need for remote operation of my machine.

I found a headless Manfroto at a garage sale and my wife got this for me as an anniversary gift. So far I love it, I am using it for my 5D Mark 2 with a Sigma 150-600 and it holds it right where I put it every time.
