This adapter eliminates having to unplug my lapel mic after recording a take to plug in my headphone and check the audio. It DOES NOT allow me to monitor audio DURING the recording (at least on my Samsung phone), but I can now check my audio immediately afterwards while leaving all my connections intact. 5 |

I saved my money to buy this camera, as it had a mic input and headphone port. It is a great camera, and I have added a hood that screws into the the 37mm threads. It is very small, but has amazing HD quality. A con is that if you are using a mac the video format is in .mts files, meaning you must have the software (Final Cut, iMovie, Roxio Toast) to convert the files into a HDV file. Best mic to camera adapter kit, bar none. Offers all the flexibility that is required. Might not work very well for heavier cameras, but it is the best for Flip type cameras or anything of that nature!! I personnaly use it with a Zoom H2n recorder, and it works like a charm! 5 |
