These headphones have been around for years, bought them at B&H back when they had just one Headphone tree display. Only serious or professional music lovers were buying headphones during that period.(Some of you probably were still playing in the sandbox.) Now with the myriad of headphones on display, I think they are still the VERY best sounding. Since then I have bought some of the latest, and best from Apple, Bose, Sony etc. All very good, terrific in fact, but when you compare their sound to these Sennheiser 600, wow, they will make you wonder what those German engineers knew , that all the other guys are still trying to learn. Couple these headphones with a Dragonfly DAC, and you will hear your favorite music for the first time all over again.

The Auray Desktop Headphone Stand is a sturdy stylish option to put your headphones on display vs in a drawer somewhere. I really like having my headphones within arms reach and this stylish stand helps me keep them close without taking up a bunch of extra space and have them looking sloppy. The base has a little weight to it so it won't easily topple over and it features some padding on the arm to keep the headphones from slipping off. This is a great addition to my office. A must-have to connect to your iPhone 7, 8, & X. In my case my 6-month old Apple Lightning to headphone adapter didn't work; once I replaced it with a new one this Rode cable worked properly. BONUS: Check out the Rode SC6 to add a headphone output to the input chain!

I currently have two other versions of this Lav.  This is a unique addition to those.  I will be using this on my iPhone since they did away with the headphone jack!  Works great for memo recording and also live streaming.  I will be using this for youtube uploads that require little to no editing so I can quickly plug in, record and upload with better audio.  The cord is a good length and I am loving it so far.  Whats also great is that this does not require a battery like my other wired units and there is a headphone jack if you need to monitor yourself!   [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]
