Headphone Fire Cut Wire

It runs quieter and faster than my older Mac Pro. It has the power to handle my Photo images. The thing I miss is the 400 Fire Wire connections. This new model only has 800 Fire Wire Connections. They could have put in at least one 400 to 800 adapter for the price.

My Presonus Firestudio fire wire interface went bad ( after 4 years ). I was very concerned about a USB connection. Wow. This unit has absolutely no latency issues, consumes 50% Less CPU resources, and generates no heat. For the price it's a Grand Slam !

I just needed something to hold a small number of rack mounted modules (fire wire interfaces and a headphone amp/distributor). Worked really well, solid footing. Couldn't really ask for or expect more. By far the most affordable rack mount option I found too.

Trick to get the cabling in is to cut the wire at a slight diagonal to allow each wire to sequencially fill the connector.

I use the mic on my DSLR, the low cut filter works very well. I wish the cord was just a straight wire and not coiled.

I use this cable to connect various components to the headphone or mic jacks on my computer. This cable seems to be well made with fairly heavy wire and quality cable ends. I haven't had it long enough to discover how well it will hold up over time, but I expect it last as long as I don't abuse it.

The sound you'd expect from a more expensive pair of headphones. I'm a bit of a headphone fanatic, but wanted something that would pair well with my mic and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. While most headphones would do the job, I wanted these to be comfortable but not 100% noise cancelling. These fit that bill perfectly. The collapsible design is a bonus. They sound great - no distortion and are quite responsive to fine tuning adjustments to ensure accurate and quality output. My only concern is the wire from the head pad to each headphone. I'm always afraid I'm going to pull it out. However, this has not been an issue. I should note the wire appears because when you adjust the headphones there is a grooved metal (steel?) adjustment band that is exposed. I like it because they stay put and you aren't constantly having to readjust them. The coiled cable is very long and high quality. The adapter for the plug screws into place to ensure, again, a good connection without any loss of sound quality.

I haven't dug into all of its features yet, but the core features are super easy to use. Fire up Davinci Resolve, head over to the cut page, and with the Speed Editor the cut page now makes sense. Its a breeze to review footage and add it to the timeline, or to move clips around! Definitely recommend.

I cut one of these to change a connector. Wire gauge is premium, shielding second to none. My first choice of cables is Kopul. Nobody gave me anything or paid me anything for my review.

This is the second footlocker I have purchased. They are airtight and very durable. They lock but only by using the wire figure 8 that can be easily cut. The whole box is made out of plastic so if you are looking for a safe it is not lol
