Great for iPhone and iPad. I wish it had a headphone output.

I have done several timelapses with this camera and I am very satisfied with it. for the settings I rather use my iPhone instead of the remote control.

Love this mic! I was thinking about the micro vs the rode pro plus but when I heard the pro plus in different settings (i.e just using my laptop, with or without headphone, on my iphone,etc.) there was something smooth and professional about the pro plus. A must-have to connect to your iPhone 7, 8, & X. In my case my 6-month old Apple Lightning to headphone adapter didn't work; once I replaced it with a new one this Rode cable worked properly. BONUS: Check out the Rode SC6 to add a headphone output to the input chain!

I currently have two other versions of this Lav.  This is a unique addition to those.  I will be using this on my iPhone since they did away with the headphone jack!  Works great for memo recording and also live streaming.  I will be using this for youtube uploads that require little to no editing so I can quickly plug in, record and upload with better audio.  The cord is a good length and I am loving it so far.  Whats also great is that this does not require a battery like my other wired units and there is a headphone jack if you need to monitor yourself!   [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I use this to connect anything with a standard headphone cable to my iPhone Lightning port (older selfie stick, older Square reader, earbuds and headphones).

With either a SC6 (Rode Cable) and SC7 (Rode Adapter) I was able to connect my headphone and VideoMicro Compact to my Iphone 6s+. Much more mobile and ready to do what I need to do.
