Headphone Sony Mdr V6

Considering the excellent price I give the Senal SMH-100 headphone a 5 star rating. Excellent price/performance! It does not include (optional) the nice carry bag that comes with the similar Sony MDR-V6. B&H did throw in no charge as a combo special a pair of the super nice sheepskin earpads. These phones have very defined low distortion sound and extended FR with a slight mid range emphasis and slight bass emphasis. (I prefer this in a headphone, no laid back, warm sound here). This headphone is very well built, extra comfortable, folds up into a very compact form when not in use if desired, and comes with two detachable cords, one coiled and one short straight cord, a very nice feature. These are quite similar in price/performance to the also excellent Sony MDR-V6. So far (several weeks testing) I might give it an ever so slight edge over the Sony MDR-V6 which I have owned 4 pair over 20+ years. Time will tell if the Senal continues the excellent performance, build and sound wise. Superb service from B&H as always! Highly recommended.

I use these earpads with rather old Sony MDR-V6 headphones. I have found them to be very comfortable.

I bought these knowing they're good, ive used them before... and ive also used sony mdr v600, v6, and 7510s. But it was extra nice to get them for such a reasonable price from a reputable vendor... so i know theyre not fake.

I bought these as replacements for the cheap ones on my Sony MDR-V6. They look like they will last much longer then the originals.

This replacement ear pad is better than the original for my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. I use these for recording marching band contests and they are very comfortable.

I've been using Sony MDR V6 (old version of the ubiquitous 7506) for many years and finally bought 3 more sets of the Senal's for my camera operators. The removable cable is fantastic since they can swap out between the two included cables, a short straight cable or a long coiled one. Both cables lock securely with a 1/4 turn and they sound just fine. I have not used them extensively yet, but the camera ops and I are happy!

I have both the Sony V6 and MDR 7506. Both are fine, but I actually think the Senal has a slightly greater freq range. I like having the short, non-coil option for the cable. My only slight issue is I wish the cushion was deeper. As it is, it matches the Sony cushion. It does NOT include a pouch like most headphones.

I have a decade old MDR-V6 SONY headphones. Replacing the old pads with Pearstone earpads made them like new. Could be a slight sonic difference compared to the old pads, but I just listen to music, so it didn't make any difference to me. The pads are more comfortable than the old ones.

These work great. The earpads that came with my Sony MDR-v6 headphones started to flake and fall apart pretty quickly. I got these as a replacement. They fit perfectly and feel a lot studier than the original earpads.
