Headphone Studio Multiple Plug In

We're using this in a small audio studio where students prefer to have their multiple radio hosts all crowded in the control room. This gives them individually controlled headphone feeds, and frees up the board's headphone jack, with talkback, to feed the studio space's headphone jacks. Very user friendly for the announcers while giving me the connections and quality I need.

Have been wanting to get away from my plug-in beginner studio lights and switch to multiple speedlights instead. The SU-800, although I just threw it on camera without even reading anything beyond the basic how to use instructions, is great. Speedlight attached to umbrella/stand, and now I have a portable lighting unit. (Additional speedlight hopefully coming from Santa...) Love the ease of using!

The HAUC Active Stereo Headphone Control Box by Whirlwind fits the bill perfectly for studio headphone control. Easily mounted under the desk, it is a solid piece of gear. In my studio, I have several headphone locations branching off a multi-headphone amp. Using the HAUC, i am able to give each user a choice of 3.5 mm and 1/4 jacks, and full volume control. Installation was a breeze with four screws. At my news-talk table, I have daisy-chained three thanks to the dual jacks in the back, and each still has its own volume control. Well worth the money and highly-recommended.
