Headphone Wire Kill Choke

I use this cable to connect various components to the headphone or mic jacks on my computer. This cable seems to be well made with fairly heavy wire and quality cable ends. I haven't had it long enough to discover how well it will hold up over time, but I expect it last as long as I don't abuse it.

The sound you'd expect from a more expensive pair of headphones. I'm a bit of a headphone fanatic, but wanted something that would pair well with my mic and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. While most headphones would do the job, I wanted these to be comfortable but not 100% noise cancelling. These fit that bill perfectly. The collapsible design is a bonus. They sound great - no distortion and are quite responsive to fine tuning adjustments to ensure accurate and quality output. My only concern is the wire from the head pad to each headphone. I'm always afraid I'm going to pull it out. However, this has not been an issue. I should note the wire appears because when you adjust the headphones there is a grooved metal (steel?) adjustment band that is exposed. I like it because they stay put and you aren't constantly having to readjust them. The coiled cable is very long and high quality. The adapter for the plug screws into place to ensure, again, a good connection without any loss of sound quality.

This case is an excellent value for the price. Hard shell with a moderately stiff foam interior covered with a long fleece lining. Has room for your forearm, buttstock and barrel with a small slot for choke tubes. Outer pockets can hold extra choke tubes and other items. This works great for takedown sporting or field shotguns. My 725 Browning Trap will fit but the dimensions for the buttstock are a little tight and it needs to be lightly forced in. Can probably modify the foam to accept it as a slide in. Again, great quality and protection at an extremely low price.

This scanner is very fast. It doesn't choke even at 1200 dpi. The software package appears to be well updated (I'm using macos Sierra). Installation and setup was easy.

It is difficult not to choke at least a little on the cost, and there certainly are options nearly as good at a lower price. The question is whether nearly as good is good enough if you are mounting $5K-$15K of gear atop your tripod. Each of us has our own answer to that question, based on resources and risk tolerance, but after buying this bracket and seeing how well it is made and how well it fits my D850, I have absolutely no regrets. Rock solid.
