Everybody knows that apple ipad is well THE APPLE iPAD. No surprises. It took me several hours to get used to the new swipe and lack of old home button. Got extra annoyed with the lack of choices for cases and swore when I couldn't use my old gen 1 apple pen. Blah blah blah. . . After several efforts to make an iPad more than just a browsing and gaming gadget, I dove deeper with the 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch. iOS 13 convinced me that the iPad might be more useful than previously. The iOS makes a big difference, but having a real keyboard to use with it, made the iPAD Pro a home run. I'm very satisfied with this keyboards performance and functionality. The Apple smart keyboard is too limited for my needs (think: emaciated super model) and the big bulky overbuilt keyboards negate the advantages of the iPads diminutive size. I can't speak to it's durability as I've only had it a couple of months. So far so good. I'm actually using the iPad Pro more and more for emails, writing and everyday tasks that I gave up on with my previous iPAD 2 and iPAD Air 2. It is quickly becoming a replacement for my MBP for mobile computing needs. The Logitech Slim Folio Pro, along with an Apple Pencil is a big part of that transition. 5 |
