Easy to use. Attached to PC running Windows 10 and was quickly detected and added to file system. Been adding 1800+ DVD/Blu-Ray movie collection to the drive and data transfer speed has been quite good. Have only had for a couple of weeks so can't say much about the longevity of the unit. my headphone jack stopped on my windows 10 machine. i use this to go from my headphones w/ mic to a usb port on the pc. it works great. I didn't want to send in the pc, so this works great. thank you B&H 5 |

I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work? 5 |

The pre-amp works great. Just got it, hooked up with no issues and have recorded multiple albums. Better than directly connecting a receiver to the laptop. Works with Windows 10. Windows 10 automatically detects it and starts up the proper USB audio codec. Found I needed to use my normal sound device for playback with my Toshiba laptop. B&H once again delivers quickly. I highly recommend both. 5 |
