Headphones With Mic Broken

My headphone jack was broken on my admittedly old laptop. This enabled me to still use headphones for a small cost, and not replace the whole computer. I can also confirm that it works via a USB hub.

These are fantastic headphones once you get them broken in. I use them daily for audio editing and some mixing. They are extremely comfortable and have very clean, clear sound that allows me to pickup on edits or problem frequencies better than when I monitor through my mains, though they won't beat a good room and good monitors for mixing. I will say that they are very large. Much larger than the Sennheiser HD600. One reason I got these headphones is that they are much easier to drive from normal pro equipment when compared the HD600 and HD650. I no longer need to carry a headphone amp with me just to do some basic editing. Most audio interfaces seem to do a good job driving the K701s.

Every pair of decent headphones should have a replaceable cable! It changes the nightmare of having a broken pair of headphones into the mere incovience of replacing the cable.

These are so awesome, the sound is fantastic and the cushion does not hurt my ears. One of the hardest things when getting headphones is trying to get ones that don't hurt my ear after a while and these are great! Love them.

Fantastic right out of the box, I found that these may need to be broken in normally after the first few days of using them in order to hear their full range of sound, or maybe that's just me. Any case, these are spectacular and there is no distortion whatsoever, and with these being open-backed they have that unique open ended live sound stage that closed-back headphones just don't have. Had to mod my phone case in order for the big cable end to fit, but since these will be used mostly sitting down quietly at home, there are no issues there. Other headphones at this price just don't cut it like these do.

Excellent mic and headphones for the money

My Dad had a broken scissor arm lamp, and by removing the lamp and replacing its mounting screw with a new one from Home Depot, he was able to turn it into a mic arm for me! This shock mount screwed right on and my AT2020USB mic fits in this mount like it was made for it!! Now, after 30 minutes of adapting the arm, I have a studio quality mic and a studio quality shock mount. I plan to add a pop filter and I'll be set to record and will have spent less than $ on everything!!

I called B&H immediately after I received the stand, because the mic clip was broken inside the box. They sent me a new clip ASAP. Great service.
