I got it tow month ago and used in several hikes. I use it to communicate my location to my family at home as well as track my location on I-phone. Easy to use, reliable, good battery life, peace of mind while hiking alone in remote locations.

We purchased a Mini 2 for our 120 mile trip to the Bahamas and our family loved being able to track our location and even what speed we were travelling. Also nice knowing I could message them or anyone else if needed. Battery life is outstanding as well.

Got this so my family can track my adventures and for safety. It replaces a competitive product that did not seem to track in as timely a manner and does not have as many communication/message options/capabilities. I would recommend to a friend.

I bought this for a boat trip to the Bahamas. The ability for family at home to track my progress throughout the crossing and subsequent week sure took the anxiety level down for them. I loved the chance to use the check-in messages as well as to receive weather forecasts for crossing and island hopping planning. All in all a VERY USEFUL device.
