Hercules Ms533B Microphone Stand

I bought a Hercules two instrument stand, but only one set of NINAs came with the stand. These devices make the yoke of the instrument stand more narrow for mandolins, mandolas, banjos, or other instruments with narrow necks or smallish headstock. Thankfully B&H carry spare sets for sale. 5 |

I am a musician (reed and keybaord player) and PortaBrace TLQ35 has recenly become my new gig bag (I bought a slightly used one here on B&H). It has replaced the Hercules BSB001 stand bag. The price for this bag is significantly higher than that of Hercules, but it also offers incomparable level of durability, protection, and capacity, at the dimensions similar to my old gig bag, 35 x 9 x 7 (there are longer versions available as well but 35 fit my bill perfectly well). As I said, I am a musician, and the PortaBrace products are not targeted at that market. It was my long-time interest in professional TV/ film and audio production and the related equipment has led me to notice the designated bags and accessories of outstanding quality which became an industry standard (mainly those by PortaBrace and Kata). Some of them proved to work really great for musician's needs. One example is that the PortaBrace memory foam suede strap that also comes with this case: it is the best strap for the tenor sax case or keyboard gig bag, period. Most of other straps are a pain, quite literally so. This bag is built really smart, it sports lots of outside and inside pockets, subway handles on both sides, inside velcro strap for one of the stands, the non-slipping outer bottom surface, the wide-opening mouth, even a mini-flashlight, and, as I said earlier, it is very capacious: I can throw there a Hercules or a K&M bass clarinet / bassoon stand + music stand (or two) + a mic stand + clarinet / flute / oboe stands or pegs and a few 25' mic cables. Or - I can put there a Bb clarinet case + flute + piccolo + stands + CDs / cards or whatever other stuff I need. Again, the case not cheap, but it's worth the money if you are a gigging on everyday basis. 5 |

I own 5 hideaway hercules boom mics. This is better. And the one I bought was used. The construction is better because of the zinc metal. The base is very heavy (which is what you want) The metals poles are solid as well. My audio teacher said this can affect the sound when recording. To anyone who reads this, the K&M 210/9 boom stand the superior mic stand. 5 |

The grip arm is solid. I have used it on my Avenger C stand for a hair light for a documentary. Well made grip the stand like Hercules !! 5 |

Unless you want to spend a lot more for a 3-guitar stand, (e.g., the Hercules) this one from Ultimate Support is a good value. It comes assembled, so there's nothing to do but to take it out of the box and set it up. The design suspends your guitars from the top hangers, with the backs of the instruments resting on the t-shaped lower pieces. All support pieces are nicely padded. Doesn't tip over when holding just a single guitar. 5 |

I did a lot of research on stands. I like the Hercules single guitar stand for when I am handling the guitar (playing and putting the guitar down). The Quik-Loc is perfect for getting the guitars against the wall and out of harms way. The supports ensure that the instruments do not bang against each other (better than any others I researched). The product is sturdy and the dimensions are compact. Exactly what I was looking for. 5 |

These are identical to the neck adjustments that come with the Hercules stand. B&H is the only retailer I could find that carried them. Price was fair and buying experience was very good. 5 |

I was looking for a bag to carry a heavy duty double guitar stand, (made by Hercules). I wanted something reasonably priced but was durable enough to handle the weight of the stand. I was pleased with the construction. The padding is subtle but adequate for my needs. The dimensions are perfect for the Hercules stand and an additional folded up compact guitar stand. I would like to add that the description and specs of the item on the B&H website were spot on. I feel this bag would be great for carrying the light stands/tripods for which it was designed. 5 |
